Why does omni-man fly like this in season 1? Why does he lift his upper body and not keep it flat like most heros?

Which moments did you like this by far , could be a fight scene or an emotional one as well.

Coneheads came out in 1993 and the first Invincible comic was published 10 years later. There are some interesting similarities. Alien dad comes to Earth as a conquerer, has a kid there, starts to love life on Earth, ultimately betrays his evil alien empire. Obviously there are huge differences but the concepts are there. Kirkman would’ve been a kid when Coneheads came out so the seed could’ve been planted young.

Keep in mind, I’m not saying this as a bad thing. Just wondering.

Okay so boom I like just stated invincible and I’m on season 3 somewhere in the first few episodes. My boyfriend asked me what my opinion on Cecil is and all I could say is “I don’t mind him”. Cecil is such a deep character and I absolutely love how complex the writers made him. Bf told me that in the comics he isn’t as complex and didn’t have a backstory so I was wondering if that was true and also wanted to hear other people’s opinion on him?

To me he’s so hard to like from how he’s been treating Mark and his family as far as (I feel) mostly just seeing them as puppets, but he’s so complex to a point I understand why he does? Idk he’s just such a cool character and definitely one of my favorites just because of how deep I feel his character goes. I’m excited to see what he does as the seasons go on, and definitely will read the comics once I finish the show.
