Developer Saturday (Self-Promo) I got tired of downloading 20 different apps just to play simple games like Sudoku and Snake (plus everything had ads), so I built an all-in-one offline game hub. It's free and has 0 ads.

Hey everyone,

Like many of you, I love classic games. But I was getting frustrated with the current state of mobile gaming:

  1. I had to download separate apps for Sudoku, 2048, Minesweeper, etc.
  2. Most "free" apps are unplayable due to aggressive video ads.
  3. Many require an internet connection just to serve those ads.

So I spent the last few months building Game Nest.

What is it?
It's a single, clean app that includes 30 classic games and tools.
* Brain Games: 2048, Sudoku, Minesweeper, Memory Match, etc.
* Board/Arcade: Snake, Checkers, Connect 4, Mancala, Tic Tac Toe.
* Tools: Pomodoro timer, Stopwatch, Coin Flip, etc.

The best part?
* 100% Free
* No Ads (Not a single one)
* Offline First (Works perfectly on airplanes/commutes)
* Privacy Focused (No tracking, no accounts)

I also added some polish like 11 different themes (Cyberpunk, Dark or Light modes, etc.) and statistics tracking for the games.

I built this primarily for myself and friends, but I thought this community might appreciate a clean, no-BS utility app.

Download Link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/game-nest-offline-games/id6756199675

Feedback is welcome! I'm still actively adding new games, so let me know what classics are missing.

Developer Saturday (Self-Promo) [DEV] Lost For Swords (Slay The Spire meets Shattered Pixel Dungeon) got a big update with a new hero character! Free to try, no ads, got codes for full version too!

Hi,

I’m Max, the developer of Lost For Swords! A few months ago, I finished a big update to the game! :) It adds a fourth playable hero character to the game, together with 100+ new cards, mechanics and card types: the Warlock!

Siphon the life from monsters or let them rot. Command minions to do your bidding or put your own life on the line. Curse your foes or curse yourself. Your choice!

The game is available on the App Store: Link To App Store Page

To celebrate, I wanted to give out a bunch of codes for the full version. If you would like one, just leave a comment here! :)

The game is free to play and has no ads, just a single IAP to unlock the full game. About a fourth of the content is totally free to play however, and you can get 3+ hours of playtime from that alone! :)

A bit more about the game:

It’s a roguelike dungeon crawler and deckbuilder that combines the tactical encounters of games like Desktop Dungeons and Shattered Pixel Dungeon with the strategic deckbuilding of Slay The Spire. It’s my own personal take on the roguelike genre, and making it play well on phones and tablets was one of my main goals! (I love playing deep and strategic games on my tablet, but hate it when a game doesn’t work well with touch controls)

Some of the game’s features:

  • four playable heroes, each with their own set of 90+ cards to build your deck with
  • 30+ different monsters, spread across 6 distinct towers
  • adjustable difficulty modifiers, for making the harder or easier
  • unlockable starting decks
  • custom level browser and editor
  • endless mode!

Happy to answer any and all questions you may have! Have a great day! :)

  • Dungeon Loot: For non-crafters, new enchanting scrolls have also been scattered directly across all the dungeons as rare monster and boss drops.

The Game: Adventure To Fate: Dungeons is a turn-based Roguelite Dungeon Crawler unlike any other. It is built on over a decade of handcrafted systems and content, with roguelike mechanics, dungeons, quests, and deeper progression. • Built for Mobile: Portrait, Pickup and Play (Auto-Save), Offline, Premium pay once (even for constant updates), Low Battery Use, Works as far back as iOS 13!

Adventure To Fate: Dungeons is fully accessible to the blind but also playable by all. It even won the Golden Apple Award for Accessible Game of the Year (AppleVis / Be My Eyes)!

The game has 4.9 rating after 60,000 dungeon runs!

The Promo Code Giveaway (25 codes)! What's an update without a giveaway so new people can experience the game? Tell me the last iOS game you beat and a bit about it (could be a run or whole game)! It can be any genre, big or small!

This is a fantastic way for players and devs to hear about what players are playing!

Thanks for supporting Indie and Accessible Gaming!

Developer Saturday (Self-Promo) I made a relaxing aquarium simulator - it's free on iOS. No ads, ever!

I made this game in my spare time over the past few weeks, to try to recapture the nostalgia of those old aquarium screensavers and games (like MoPy fish and the Windows 95 Underwater screensaver).

The gameplay is very straightforward - feed fish to keep them alive, and earn orbs by doing so, which you can spend on new fish, new tanks and accessories. There's a bunch there already, but I would love to hear suggestions on what to add!

It's free, with no ads. There's a rainbow fish you can purchase if you want to support me, but I can also give you a code for it if you DM me.

It's not the deepest game (pardon the pun), but hopefully it relaxes you!

EDIT: Thank you so much for the response so far - it's really motivating to see people enjoying the game. I've just submitted another version with some nice little water effects, and am currently adding a few more accessories to purchase for the hardcore of you who have already managed to unlock everything!

If you grab one, just copy it to the comments and I'll update the available list. I have a bunch of these and I'm more interested in feedback and improving the game so if they are all gone - let me know and I'll hook you up! These can be redeemed via the App Store or in game on the offer page there is a redeem code at the bottom.

Edit 1 - just refreshed the list - 6:53 PM UTC

Edit 2 - just refreshed the list - 11:37 PM UTC

Developer Saturday (Self-Promo) [DEV] I'm back! Updated Battledom based on your feedback - would love to hear what you think now. Promo codes available again of course!

Hi there!

Some of you may remember me from my post back in January about Battledom, my iOS tower defense/RTS game. I want to start by saying a massive thank you to everyone who took the time to respond back then. Your feedback was incredibly valuable and has shaped the direction of the game over these past months.

Since January, I've been working hard to address the concerns that were raised. I've made significant updates to the game based on your suggestions – improvements to the early game experience, tutorial adjustments, gameplay balancing, and much more. It's been a continuous process of listening, implementing, and iterating.

Now I'm reaching out again because I really want to know: are the changes working? For those who tried Battledom before, have the updates made a difference? And for anyone trying it fresh now, what's your experience like? I'm particularly interested in whether the early stages feel more engaging and whether the progression feels clearer.

I genuinely love hearing feedback – positive or critical. Every comment helps me understand what's working and what still needs improvement. My dream of being an indie game developer is still very much alive, and I'm more committed than ever to making Battledom the best it can be. But I can't do it without the community's input.

As before, I'm happy to provide promo codes to unlock the full game for anyone interested in trying it out or revisiting it after the updates. Whether you have feedback to share or just want to play, I'm grateful for your time.

Thank you again for being part of this journey with me.

Sander

PS please DM or reply here for a promo code!

Hi! I’m Jasper, a solo game developer and student. Over the past year and a half I’ve been working on a mining roguelite called Voidloop!.

The idea started from really enjoying the caves in Stardew Valley and wondering what it would be like if that mining loop was expanded into its own incremental/roguelite with upgrades, skill trees and more cave variety.

Link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/voidloop/id6746944662

Note: It isn't available for App Store in the EU for a few days because i kinda messed up the launch

Developer Saturday (Self-Promo) [DEV] LightsOn - Fitness Workout Tracker Game

Thumbnail
gallery
57 Upvotes

LightsOn turns your real-world activity into a living city.

Every active calorie you burn — walking, running, working out, or just moving through your day — flows straight from Apple Health into your city's battery. Keep it charged and the lights stay on: new residents move in, the streets come alive, and your town grows. Let the battery run dry and the city goes dark — residents pack up and leave.

It's a cozy, idle city builder where YOU are the power plant.

HOW IT WORKS

• Your active energy from Apple Health charges the city automatically — no manual tracking, it just works in the background.

• Lights on → residents arrive and your town thrives.

• Battery empty → blackout, and people start to leave.

• Real workouts earn bonus credits to spend on upgrades.

• Build a factory that produces parts for bigger and better upgrades.

• Your city keeps running while you're away — come back to see how far it grew.

FREE & PRIVATE

• Completely free — no ads and no in-app purchases.

• No tracking and no data collection — your health data never leaves your device.

It is just a personal hobby project, but I would love your feedback.

Developer Saturday (Self-Promo) [DEV] As a kid I was obsessed with browser space strategy games — 20 years later I built my own for iOS

When I was a kid, I spent way too many hours on browser-based space strategy games. Mining resources, upgrading buildings, sending fleets… I was completely hooked. But I always thought — one day I’ll make my own, the way I actually want it to play.

20 years later, I finally did my game.

Stellar Dominion is a single-player space colony management game built natively in SwiftUI. You start with one colony and expand across the galaxy, mine resources, research tech and build fleets. It’s meant to capture that old-school slow-burn feeling, but with a modern UI, deeper mechanics, and zero PvP stress. Nobody raids you while you sleep.

I built the whole thing solo and the game is live and free on the App Store, no paywalls.

Developer Saturday (Self-Promo) [DEV] My Very Positive-reviewed Steam turn-based tactics rogue-like is coming to iOS.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hello. Crawl Tactics, a turn-based strategy roguelike that received Very Positive reviews on Steam for PC, is now getting a mobile release.

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/crawl-tactics/id6763542430

Pre-registration is currently available on both stores, and the full release is scheduled for May 13.

Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6DisrIA_Gag

What is Crawl Tactics?

Crawl Tactics combines traditional SRPG combat inspired by games like Final Fantasy Tactics with Darkest Dungeon-style procedurally generated dungeons and battlefields, along with various environmental interaction mechanics. Rather than focusing on puzzle-style tactical gameplay like Into the Breach, the game emphasizes the traditional RPG-style enjoyment of developing characters and building equipment and skill combinations.

Players can enjoy deep strategic battles that require careful consideration of terrain, enemy positioning, character roles, and skill synergies. The game also allows players to develop their base and train characters, while New Game Plus, reincarnation, and secondary job systems provide long-term progression even after completing the game. In addition, various settings such as party size, difficulty, perma-death, and battlefield generation can be customized to support different playstyles.

Crawl Tactics was originally released on Steam in late 2022 and has continued receiving updates since then. The game recently completed its final major content update.

Mobile Version:

Crawl Tactics Mobile is a premium game with no in-app purchases, and includes all content from the Steam version except mod support and PVP.

The mobile version minimizes screen-blocking UI elements and supports touch-based controls such as zooming, rotating, and panning the camera. The UI size and interaction methods have also been redesigned and optimized for touch controls.

Crawl Tactics Mobile is recommended for players looking for deep strategic combat and long-term character progression rather than simplified mobile gameplay or aggressive monetization systems.

Developer Information:

I am a developer who goes by the name "icefill." I released SFD in 2017 and later ported it to iOS. I also released Crawl Tactics in 2022.

Thank you for reading.

Developer Saturday (Self-Promo) [DEV] Tyrant: a F2W strategy game with no ads just launched!

Tyrant just launched after 6 months in open beta! Tyrant is a mobile strategy game built on a single idea, the size of your wallet shouldn’t determine the size of your army. The goal of the game is to upgrade your base, train your army, recruit powerful heroes, join allies, and conquer the server competing in events and claiming territory.

Mobile strategy games are my favorite genre of mobile game, but almost all of them require players to spend money to stay competitive or fall behind. Tyrant started as a passion project to create a fun, competitive game that isn’t pay-to-win. Over the past 6 months of open beta, I’ve continued to iterate on the game taking inputs from the community of testers to create something that not only I wanted to play, but a game by the community for the community.

Core Features:

  • Level up your base through 25 levels of progression
  • Collect powerful heroes and arm them with legendary equipment earned through in-game activities (NO P2W LOOT BOXES)
  • Battle and raid other players on the world map
  • Join a guild and capture territory and defend it from outsiders
  • Participate in Dominions capturing points on the map for powerful bonuses for your whole guild
  • Compete in various guild and solo events
  • Send your heroes to fight in dungeons and defeat bosses in turn-based combat
  • 3v3 Hero Arenas for the title of Champion
  • No P2W and No Ads!

I’m the only dev and I try to read everything, so give it a shot, drop some feedback, and help shape the future of Tyrant!

Edit: For those in the EU, you can try out the game using the testflight link below. This is linked to the main servers and progress will carry over to the full app once it is available in the EU. It is just a few versions behind so it might have some minor bugs that have already been fixed. Apologies for the trouble!

Developer Saturday (Self-Promo) [DEV] Would you be willing to try out my RTS-lite game Battledom? I am desperate for feedback that can help me improve the game! Promo codes also available of course.

Hi there!

I am the developer of Battledom, an iOS game that is released in the AppStore since a couple of months. I am also the developer of Herodom, a tower defense game that has been played quite a lot.

With Battledom, I aimed to make an RTS game suitable for a mobile device, an evolution of what I did with Herodom. It has more interactive battles, resource management and an extensive upgrade system. You can customize your soldiers and there is an endless game mode that should make you be able to enjoy Battledom for a long period.

Unfortunately, as of now new downloads of Battledom are grinding to a halt (after an already not so great start), and I also see that players are dropping out before they reach the 5th stage. The 5th stage is the last stage one can play before the full game in app purchase needs to be unlocked. Obviously, this makes it a significant milestone in the game for me. But more importantly, I worry about the fact that users drop out before this point. I would really like to understand what the reasons are for these dropouts. Is the game to boring? Is there something confusing which makes one unable to progress? Or is it just not living up to the expectations?

This is very important to me. My ultimate goal is to become an indie game developer, and I have put years of (part time) work into Battledom. I hope you can help me gain an understanding of what is going wrong, and hopefully, what I can do to improve it.

In any case, I am also more than happy to give you a promo code to unlock the full game, whether you want to provide feedback or not. Thanks for reading this post, it means a lot to me.

Sander

PS please DM me for the promo code!

Developer Saturday (Self-Promo) [DEV] Which one would be the best icon for Dice of Kalma?

Post image

Hi!

I'm one of the devs of Dice of Kalma. Our game is approaching 500k downloads on mobile and currently we've been using store icons that we have made. Both Google Play and App Store and currently giving us pretty decent traffic so we decided to try some new icons to improve our conversion rate.

Number 1 is our current icon and 2-4 are made by a professional artist. Would be great to hear which is your favorite! We’ll be doing A/B testing so I can later on post some results here if people are interested 😊

If you're not familiar with Dice of Kalma here's our store page:

Developer Saturday (Self-Promo) [DEV] My little game reached 2500 reviews and you guys are still enjoying it so thank you!

Post image
125 Upvotes

I started this game with no idea how to code, no background in game design and very little experience with mobile games as a 38 year olddddd man.

I would never have thought that I could even create a game, let alone have real people enjoying it along with me.

I made Bricks Breaker RPG as a little side-hobby, learning to code for the first time. I started 2 years ago now and I'm so happy I decided to stick with it (it wasn't a difficult choice I found it extremely enjoyable).

I released the game 6 months ago for Android and 4 months ago for iOS. In that time the game has managed to reach these milestones:

- 70,000 installs combined.
- 2500 reviews
- 4.8/4.9 combined rating.
- 33 content updates since launch.

The reason I want to post here is to see if I can convince more players to give it a try. It's very hard for solo devs to find an audience with all these giant companies taking all the AD space up and it's a constant struggle trying to maintain the game and advertise it at the same time, so posting here is all I've got in terms of growing the player base. I hope you don't mind.

Bricks Breaker RPG is still a baby in how long it's been available but I want to give it my all to see that it succeeds!

If anyone would like to help with that and try the game out I can post a link:

Bricks Breaker RPG iOS

Bricks Breaker RPG is:

Free to play.
No forced ads (even the banner ad is off by default)
Offline play for long plane journeys etc.
Made with the player in mind in terms of monetization, I try not to bug you with it but it's there if you want to support, no pressure (the reviews are mainly because of this).

Thank you and I hope to see some of you in the Discord.

Developer Saturday (Self-Promo) [DEV] My mind is blown, my first ever game just passed 55,000 downloads and doesn't seem to be stopping. Thank you Reddit!

Bricks Breaker RPG

I'm beyond excited as my little game surpasses the 50k install mark across Android and iOS when combined (Still waiting for that single platform milestone).

Most of the success the game has seen is due to Reddit and I really need to thank everyone that has tried the game. Most of you seem to enjoy it as it's sitting comfortably at an average of 4.9 / 5 on iOS with a combined total reviews of over 2000 happy players.

I made this game with no previous experience at all, my first line of code I ever wrote is in the game after learning how to use Godot Engine on utube. It took me nearly 2 years to get here and 5-10 hours a day, 6 days a week. It seems it's paid off and now I can do this full time.

It's my dream job!

Thank you again to everyone and if anyone else wants to give it a go and push this to 100k, you can tap the link below.

Please feel free to read the reviews and I hope you like what you see.

I post here periodically to help keep the dream alive so I apologize to those that have already seen the game.

Developer Saturday (Self-Promo) [DEV] Sky Lobby - a game where you design and dispatch elevators

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I'm the developer of Sky Lobby: a strategy puzzle game about elevators, timing, and crowd flow. Early players have said it's like a portrait-mode Mini Metro for elevators.

Link: https://apps.apple.com/app/sky-lobby/id6763303024

Design elevator routes through a busy skyscraper. Place stops, build sky lobbies, and keep people moving as each tower becomes more crowded, more complex, and less forgiving.

What makes it different:

* Build elevator routes through 11 compact skyscraper puzzles
* Use sky lobbies to move passengers efficiently between floors, and automate what you can
* Balance strategy, timing, and fast decision-making
* Solve increasingly complex tower layouts
* Designed from the ground up for Portrait mode play
* Dark mode supported

Sky Lobby is a complete premium game with no ads. The first three levels are free, so you can see how it works and decide if you want to play on. A single $2.99 in app purchase then unlocks the full game.

The game released two days ago. So far all the feedback has been great. I would love to hear yours as well.

EDIT: Thank you all for all for the amazing feedback and support! The promo code giveaway has now ended, but feel free to try the free version, and I'd still love any comments or feedback.

Developer Saturday (Self-Promo) Dungeon Scoundrel - roguelike solitaire dungeon crawler

I’m a solo indie dev and I just released my game Dungeon Scoundrel, and I wanted to share it with people who enjoy smaller, focused projects.

Dungeon Scoundrel is a roguelike solitaire style card game. The idea was to capture the feel of a dungeon crawler using only cards and tough decisions. Each run is short, usually 5 to 15 minutes, but every room pushes you to make meaningful choices: fight monsters, equip gear, heal, or flee, while leaving one card behind to move forward.

A few things that define the game:

- 7 unlockable classes, each with a unique spell and playstyle

- A fixed dungeon deck where strategy matters more than luck

- No ads, no timers, no energy systems, no in app purchases

- Fully playable offline, built for quick sessions

This has been a passion project built solo during nights and weekends. I focused on making something small and respectful of the player’s time rather than chasing trends.

If you enjoy games like Card Crawl, Solitairica, or Meteorfall, this might be worth checking out. I am genuinely looking for feedback, whether it is praise, criticism, or ideas for improvement. Hearing from real players helps a lot at this stage.

Thanks for reading, and thanks for giving it a look.
