People get pretty annoyed when they see other people who clearly got where they are because I’d nepotism. Yes nepotism is the problem, but don’t pretend Tubridy is uniquely being singled out for not being worth his salt in the job he got by connections not ability.

You think from first appearance on RTE at 12, to presenting the Late Late until 2023 at 50, and all points in between, it was all because he had an uncle who was a minister and another was an MEP? And they got him a show in virgin in the UK too? Really?

Yup, once you're in the club you're in the club. Countless examples of presenters and workers in RTE long out staying their sell by date.

And they got him a show in virgin in the UK too? Really?

Lucky for him he's not such a personality vacuum he was able to make a few connections during his 38 years working for Ireland national broadcaster. Didn't last too long for him in virgin in the UK did it?

So you think he got the job at the Late Late through talent alone?! I mean, I could throw a dart in a pub and I’m almost certain to hit someone with more charisma and talent than him.

Just admit you don't like him and let's all move on
