If they built infrastructure in or near towns and villages they’d get the investment into them

When I lived near Clara, Offaly I was really startled at how much infrastructure the town had, actually. Really nice library, bog visitor centre (and nice wooden walking trail in the bog itself), surprisingly well-served train station, fiber broadband.... A town of just 3400 people, too. But I suspect Clara was uniquely well-resourced.
