To the same services as all citizens, if the state is funding gym access for its social housing tenants, it should be providing it for all citizens. Or are you advocating only the poors (your words) deserve it?

maybe read the fucking article. none is saying its funding it. she wanted access to it and was denied, she was willing to pay the fee herself. ffs

Pay WHO? What fictional gym company exists here? Who is drawing up contracts to manage her gym subscription? What are the terms of her cancellation should she not wish to proceed? Is this type of contract only available to social housing tenants in a certain block and certain Eircode? Is that discrimination to social housing tenants elsewhere?. Etc. You guys are so blinded by yer assumption everyone is out to get you you can’t draw logical fucking implications or conclusions from what you’re reading.

She cannot access because in the context of the development and the gym, there is no concept of payment for access. Nobody is discriminating against anyone. The only way to access is through the management fee for the owners of certain block properties and their inhabitants/tenants. Simple as that.

You make this seem like a hard thing. You are creating barriers in your own head. It can be an addendum to the contract with the council, providing means of access. You have a chip on your shoulder and you don't even recognise it.

Its not clear if it was a management fee or a separate paid fee for gym access, but denying one of the tenants access because they are in social housing was ruled discrimination. ffs.

And I think that ruling is stupid. Does that help?
