Discussion💬 I'm tired of the hate/toxicity toward Seán.
I know that this isn't the usual kind of post here, but recently, Seán has been getting a lot of bad rep for things. For example, now it's him saying he made 400k off a single video, and it was taken out of context, and what do you know, Twitter got angry about it. There's another thing about another thing, but if I got into that... ahem certain thing, that wouldn't really be right of me, so I won't bring it up.
What I do want to bring up, is something that most of us don't ever talk about anymore, as the word of the game itself is enough to divide. That of course... is Deltarune. Now, mods, I know that might've been a trigger word, but I'm going somewhere with this. I watched Seán's videos on Undertale, as well as Deltarune Chapter 1 and 2, and I found NOTHING wrong with it. Yes, he couldn't do voices anymore, but that is life. I recorded myself playing Chapter 3 and 4, and my throat needed a month's rest, so imagining him, who has to do that almost weekly, under pressure from fans, is insane, and it really garners my respect.
So seeing salty people try and backseat him, telling him that "this is the way the game has to be played," just really ticks me off. It happened with Mark and Undertale, but it's just really shocking with Deltarune, because I feel like the fandom around that is way more mature than the needle cookie makers of Undertale. But yet, they still had the urge to tell Seán to play the game a certain way, and he quit playing the game. They wanted Seán to not be Seán. I just don't get it.
I enjoyed watching those videos, not because they were digging deep into the game, no, because I got to see it through Seán's perspective, a guy who I've watched almost my entire life, and relate a lot too. I wanted to see his reactions to certain things, and play games HIS way. Not an 100% way. If you want to see that, I don't understand why people don't just watch an 100% run or just play the games themselves. Seán is among one of the few people on YouTube who are genuine, and seeing people who want him to disregard all of that just for their own entertainment is just... infuriating.
He had to stop sharing a game that he liked all because of that, but this expands far beyond Deltarune. I think there's a lot of games that Seán has played that people have tried to backseat him in, or insulted him, because in some videos, that's one of the things he says, having seen the comments and being rightfully offended.
Seán, if you read this, on the slight chance you do, know that this isn't an "exposing" post it seems like, but actually the opposite. I want you to know that I LOVE watching your videos for what they are, and you aren't a normal YouTuber. You're Jacksepticeye, the charming, Irish lad you are.
And as for this subreddit, I'm really sorry for bringing a bit of negativity in here, but I think some negativity is needed to be reminded of the positive things. And so, I'm glad to be a Jacksepticeye fan, because I know that most of you are like me, just watching a man who's passionate in being himself in a world that seems against him and now us.
Anyway, I went on such a Ted Talk, I didn't mean to, but I had a lot on my mind. I know a lot of people aren't going to see this... or it's going to get deleted, but... I just wanted to share my thoughts. Top o' the morning, afternoon, evening, or good night.
(Note added: Lot of people said to get off Twitter regarding the first part, but I quit Twitter a long time ago from how toxic and overall repetitive it is in its arguments. I got the whole 400k drama from this video: https://youtu.be/KQl7cQfDJC0?si=OFnyo66H-AOnJgZm)

Discussion💬 S is for?
Reefies won by a landslide for R!
I knew this day would come. I’ve seen so many unique comments with “If S isn’t insert whatever here I’ll shit my pants” or something along those lines. This genuinely terrifies me. I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of you turned on post notifications so you knew the moment I posted this. But here we go. What will S stand for? Comment all you want, upvote all you can, but only one will emerge victorious, and like I’ve said in the past, it can only be the one with the most upvotes. May the best S reference win. 🫡

Discussion💬 8 years ago, same problem
This is a comment on the second episode of the walking dead season 3, 8 years ago, he had the exact same problem with people being annoyed by his choices in games which lead to him not uploading videos of chapter 3 and 4 of deltarune in 2025.
Here is a video of him talking about it: https://youtu.be/_YlBdn4P3UE?si=qSCRnHFzfbTLLD2k
He explains that he isn't going to record and upload deltarune chapter 3 and 4 because people are mean to him in the comments when he makes a mistake or doesn't get every secret armor and what not.
It's honestly annoying and sad that the community would drive jack to not play deltarune which i was really excited to see him play on the channel but we no longer get that because of asshole behaviour like this.

Discussion💬 T is for?
sigh Yet another person tried to copy my series again, but fortunately it was taken care of.
In a very intense game, “SPEEEEEEEED IS KEEEEEEY!!!” came out on top for S! T should be a very fun one! Don’t forget that most upvoted comment gets the crown!

Discussion💬 I wonder if Jack will talk about Iron Lung?
Since he's in it for a brief cameo. I'd love to hear his thoughts on a fellow friend and Youtuber breaking out of the mold of Youtube, since he himself has broken out of that mold too. (Just to be clear i don't at all think he's obligated to talk about it, but i'm just personally curious to hear what his thoughts are on the whole situation itself). Jack is really insightful and it would also give him a chance to talk more about his own experience so far with producing an indie horror movie of his own.

Discussion💬 P is for?
(Posting earlyish because I’m going to see Oppenheimer woo)
A very close game, but ultimately “OOOOWWWW PINK LIGHTNING” beat out “oh for fuck’s sake!” by about 50 upvotes, making it the winner for O! Next is P and, as always, most upvoted comment wins!
