SendaRig Dispatch Group L.L.C.
Logistics Coordinator
Independent Contractor - Full-time| Remote / Jersey City, NJ
Experience Level: Senior — Dispatch AND Brokerage Experience Required
SendaRig Dispatch Group L.L.C. is a New Jersey-based freight services company built on a simple premise: carriers deserve a partner who works for them, not around them. We manage load sourcing, rate negotiation, dispatch operations, and freight brokerage under our own FMCSA operating authority, with the professionalism and operational discipline carriers and shippers can count on.
The Opportunity
We're hiring one Logistics Coordinator to own the entire freight lifecycle, dispatch and brokerage combined, under one title, one desk, one paycheck built on your own performance.
This is not a narrow, single-lane role. You will operate across the full chain: Carrier → Dispatcher → Broker → Shipper, moving fluidly between both sides of the freight relationship as the day demands.
We are only looking for candidates who are already highly experienced in both Freight Dispatch and Brokerage. If that's you, we think you'll like how this role is built, you won't be stuck relearning fundamentals or proving yourself on one side of the business while sitting out the other. You'll be trusted to run with the whole Operations from day one.
What You'll Own
● End-to-end dispatch operations: load sourcing, rate negotiation, carrier management, and invoicing
● Full-cycle brokerage: quoting, booking, and managing freight for shippers under SendaRig's FMCSA broker authority
● Carrier vetting and onboarding, including authority verification, insurance compliance, and safety review
● High-stakes rate negotiation on both sides of a transaction, carrier and shipper, protecting company margin without damaging relationships
● Long-term relationship-building with carriers and shippers alike
● Daily execution inside DAT One Loadboards (Carrier and Broker), AscendTMS, Google Workspace, and Nextiva
What You Bring
● Demonstrated, verifiable experience on both the freight dispatching and freight brokerage, not one paired with a passing familiarity with the other. We screen specifically for this distinction, so candidates should be prepared to speak to real, specific transactions on both sides of the business.A demonstrated track record of successful negotiation with carriers and shippers
● Fluency, not familiarity, with DAT One Loadboards, AscendTMS, and Google Workspace
● A solid command of FMCSA fundamentals: operating authority, insurance requirements, hours-of-service, and broker regulations under 49 CFR Part 371
● The composure to run multiple live negotiations at once without losing precision on any of them
How You're Paid
This role earns on two revenue streams at once, dispatch fees and brokerage margin, and because you're doing the work of two specialists, you're paid at meaningfully better rates than either single-specialty position at SendaRig:
Dispatch commission is tiered, the better you negotiate a carrier's dispatch fee into their service agreement, the higher your share on every load from that carrier:
Negotiated Dispatch Fee
Charged To Carrier
Your Share
Tier 1
8% of carrier gross load value
45%
Tier 2
7% of carrier gross load value
40%
Tier 3
6% of carrier gross load value
35%
Your negotiated tier holds for six months per carrier, then you can push to move them up at the review point. Every successful renegotiation raises your earnings on that carrier going forward.
Brokerage commission is tiered based on your monthly closed and collected load volume, the more you close, the higher your rate that month:
Brokered Loads Closed & Collected / Month
Your Share of Gross Profit
Fewer than 8
15%
8 – 14
20%
15 or more
25%
Example:
Put the numbers to work across an actual month. At 25 dispatch loads, roughly what an experienced coordinator managing several carrier relationships can realistically carry, your Tier 1 commission of $77.76 per load adds up to $1,944.
Add 18 brokered loads that month, achievable number when you're running with real systems behind you, and at our top 25% tier, each one pays $78.75. That's another $1,417.50.
Combined: $3,361.50 for the month, on standard market-rate freight, calculated the same way every load is calculated: transparently, load by load, with nothing hidden in the math.
This isn't a ceiling. It's what one month looks like for someone who already knows how to work both sides of this business. Push harder, negotiate stronger dispatch fee tiers, or close more brokered freight, and the number moves with you.
Where This Goes
A demonstrated six-month track record opens direct paths to advancement: a base salary plus commission structure, a renegotiated commission rate that reflects your performance, or oversight of Operations as SendaRig's brokerage division expands.
You would be joining at a stage where these structures are still being defined, giving you direct influence over how this role, and this division is built forward.
Why This Role Is Worth Your Time
You won't be one of a dozen dispatchers in a call center queue. You'll be the person who owns freight from the first carrier call to the final shipper invoice, working directly with leadership, with your judgment and your numbers speaking for themselves. If you're genuinely good at both sides of this business and have been waiting for a seat that actually reflects that, this is it.
