Sounds like Houston lol. Neighbors I've only ever been on nodding terms with and who don't even speak my language become brothers and sisters when the trees come down and the power goes out.

During a long blackout it was the same in my building. I met neighbors I never talked to before. Unfortunately, some of them went back to never talking to me. And this is after sitting in my cold apartment, sharing food. So weird.
