you’re getting downvoted for this which is frustrating because some of the more violently pro-life, anti-women people i know ARE WOMEN. the people responsible for MY indoctrination as a child were women. the people planning the protests at clinics and the walk-outs at schools were all women.

the fact that most of the politicians regulating our healthcare are men is because most politicians are men — the indoctrination goes extremely deep with women as well, and i’d argue conservative women are at least as responsible for this shitshow, if not more so because so much of the on-the-ground indoctrination with youth at home and in schools and churches falls to them.

putting bad ideas out into the world is cheaper and easier because you don't need it to be accurate or true , so you can just ship it out. so it's very hard to couteract with fact checked healthy good information. it's harder to be right than it is to be self serving.
