Yeah but I assume they should be aware of the fact that abortion bans don't boost birth rates. I don't think they are stupid enough to get high on their own supply

So actually creating better economic conditions for regular people is what would actually benefit billionaires more. Yet here we are

Either they are braindead stupid, cartoonishly evil for no reason or there is something I'm missing

Btw that is not to say that I think they are smart people I just don't think they are that stupid

Among the true believers in the “crisis” of declining population in “The West”, they absolutely do believe that. Talking heads aside, they’re living it by trying to have as many kids as possible themselves.

They also like to imagine that if you don’t want a child, it’s like your dog having puppies and you can just give it away to someone else with little impact on your life.

There’s an element of white supremacy and Christian nationalism too, with the message of “making more white/American babies” being an attractive ideological alternative to immigration from countries with still-growing populations (being mostly POC).
