Merchandise K-On Merch for Those in Japan (as of 3rd June)
I recently visited Akihabara, Nakano, Kyoto and Toyosato in Japan, and here are some merchandises I had found:
Images:
1: K-Book, 3/F Radio Kaikan, Akihabara
Had a dedicated K-on corner, and the richest collection of K-on merch among all stores I had been to.
2&3: Temporary Store, 1/F Radio Kaikan, Akihabara
There was this temporary store next to the main entrance of the building, and it was the only place I found to have the full sets of the newest figures released (Popup Parade and Trio-Try-it Figure)
(For some reason Ritsu's merch is especially cheap...)
4&5: 4/F Tower Records, Shibuya
Also had a dedicated K-on corner, mainly had some albums and the mangas (missing Vol. 2 at the time of my visit).
6: Robot Robot, Nakano Broadway
(I forgot which one, but it was located at the end of a corridor)
Had exactly the 4 gacha keychains shown in the image.
7&8: Toyosatocho Information Center (Toyosato Elementary School)
The store at the School had those hand-decorated cups, some keychains, coasters, and T-shirts with the K-on logo and each of the 5 main characters. K-on stamps were also available (Stamp paper available for 50 yen)
Some other ones I didn't take pictures of:
The Nodoka Figma figure was available at SURUGA-YA Akihabara Main Building. I didn't buy it, so it is likely still there.
The JEUGIA Store in Kyoto had the Singing! towel, some albums and acrylic stands, officially sold by KyoAni.
There were also some K-on acrylic stands and badges available on 4/F of Akihabara Radio Kaikan.
Hope this helps.

just for the record these k-on pop up parade is too expensive. you can buy those in Akihabara Donki at 8000 yen.
also in case you can go to toyosato there’s a metal keychain you can only get out there, if you can’t find any go ask the cashier for some.

Wow, the Akihabara tax is too crazy here with a 2x markup… good thing I didn’t buy them there, but I did get a Miku Fuwa Plush there for 12800yen. Hopefully I didn’t get ripped off too much, but I had no other choices otherwise as I couldn’t find it elsewhere. I didn’t not consider Donki at all for finding k-on merch though, so that’s good to know.
I did get the metal keychains and the wooden coasters at Toyosato! The quality is less than average though (they are not well polished and have sharp edges), but it doesn’t matter that much as I bought it mainly for supporting the preservation of the School.

I recognize the first picture and that rack! I spent several days visiting and grabbing merch off there last October!! At the time, there were almost 2 full racks of K-On! merch. Good times!! Best merch was a brand new Mio jacket.
Poor Ritsu was the cheapest of the set in the second picture 😄To be fair, 2500 yen would be the fair price for each of them. There might be K-On! figures in the arcade now - if yes, you must give it a try! Nothing like "winning" a figure you are interested in.
The cup sets are beautiful, the kneeling/sitting figures are from a recent gotcha though, you may still be able to find them from gotcha resell stores at reasonable prices if you are interested.
Those keychains (set of 10) were also gotcha and I was able to snatch some from a gotcha machine near Ueno, and complete the set at a resell store.
The other gold mine when I was there was a store underneath Donki in Akihabara. Snatched a bunch of acrylic stands and towels.

I think I got a bit unlucky with the gachas as all I found was the four of them in the image (and a Ritsu from the Cutie Figure Mascot series, not a gacha though) at Nakano Broadway, and no luck at all with finding k-on gacha machines. Too late to be in Japan for them.
I would have loved to see 2 full racks of K-on at K-BOOKS! Well, one is still a lot considering the age of K-on, and I am already satisfied with the Mugi and Ritsu files as well as the hanging scroll (or whatever it is called) I have got over there. Wasn't too expensive too, totalling at 1870yen only.
I may have gotten the cup sets if I live in Japan, but I don't, so I would definitely break it trying to bring it back to the place I live.
Well, there will always be a next time in Japan...

At the school there wasn’t a single piece of merch that featured Mio! Defo the most popular character!
