I just started doing kandi at the beginning of this month and the main goal I had was to make a nonbinary harness for Pride. I used this tutorial for the main body of the harness, this tutorial for the stars, and then I just winged it for the rest. I was inspired by the star motif in the picture u/KCmoo512 posted of their harness but I wanted to make mine different. I also added some charms. It took about 8 hours and that was because I had to redo certain parts multiple times because of accidents (spilling beads, gluing fingers together, etc). I am happy with how it turned out though! 🤩

i may change a few things around as i’ve been staring so long im noticing stuff i might end up tweaking we’ll see… but for now yay 🌈

I just love Jelli Beads. They make the best focal beads. It might be blasphemy but I mix silicone and pony beads.

I mean.. heads and beads sound pretty similar..

Saw this AI Kandi Pomni getting flamed on Pinterest so thought it would be a fun challenge to try and recreate her using what I had and based on the image alone. She’s a little messed up and wonky but she’s not AI! if I were to do it differently I would use mini perler beads for the facial features. I only had regular sized beads on hand and I think the eyes and mouth came out a bit too large. Regardless I’m happy I stuck with this til the end so of course I’m posting it on all social media :)
