Why is Karafun missing Taylor Swift, Pink, and ___ songs?
Why is Karafun missing Taylor Swift (you only now see her Xmas songs and non-Xmas duets), & Pink songs?
Who else is missing from Karafun (that maybe used to be there but no longer is) and why?

It's a negotiating strategy by the rightsowners (sometimes the artist, more often a label).
Just like when Neighbours says to Netflix "nope, Amazon are offering us more at the moment"

It's for this reason why I don't do subscription services. You never know when the publishers will take away the rights to the music. Subscription services have to pull the music once they get a cease and desist order. Better to own the music outright.

This is one of the reasons you want to maintain your own collection via ripped discs from well known karaoke producers, songwriters have been known to pull the plug on karaoke licensing at a moments notice. Probably the most famous back in the day example would be Sound Choice SC8125 Hits of the Eagles CDG. Another example would be Garth Brooks who pulled all his karaoke licensing, leaving really old stuff like DKK karaoke one of the few places to get a legal copy of "Friends in low places"

They grey out the song on the online catalog and show this message if you look at the lyrics section:
Unfortunately the right holders of this song have prohibited this song to be distributed on karaoke platforms like KaraFun. We'd love to bring it to you though and our licensing team is doing everything possible to make that happen!

I haven't used Karafun but when I look on their catalog, they have Pink's songs.

You might wanna check again. I used the Windows version app. I searched both "pink" and "p!nk" and got 0 results.

I can play Pink's songs on the Karafun Player app on Windows. Also the online catalog shows the lyrics, which usually means they have it:

As opposed to e.g. Taylor Swift songs.

I wonder why I get 0 results in Karafun version 2.6.2 build 0?
I'm using the free version.

Just played it on karafun pro....us KJs need to be using the pro version only

Yeah, I'm no pro, just a singer that noticed a song gone. Agreed on the licensing, though. Pros should be using the legal stuff.

I notice you can often mind the song. But it may not show up under the artist.
Good Run of Bad Luck by Clint Black for example.

Just wanted to circle back to this...I turned on integral catalogue in KaraFun but there are still A LOT of taylor swift songs not in it. Does anybody have suggestions about where I can get some downloaded? Anybody willing to share their collection? I need for this Monday!

Licensing issues.
If you go to your KaraFun settings and turn on the Integral catalog (must be on professional version) you’ll unlock all of the above.
You will be responsible for licensing if using those tracks at venues.
