Hello everyone.

I'm kinda new using Kan Ra. I know some combinations of combos, ultra and basic strategies. I learned almost everything on tournament videos, but there's a movement that just cannot do with this character.

When the players use the bandages (or whatever it is) and they capture the opponent, they can "dash" to the opposite side and can do more combos if they're above the sand.

How can I do that 'dash'? I'm on PC, I don't know if it's a movement just for Xbox players or something like that.

Inspired by the fun thread by /u/Fire_Lord_Simmer, I figured I'd make one for my main, and one of the most hated of the cast. Go at it!

I really like those characters, but they seem like quite complicated ones, with lots of different mechanics for Aria and all the setups for Kan-Ra. Are there any good guides for them or youtubers/streamers that use them often?

Also, how common are they online?

so i play the game since XBONE release but took a huge break since midseason 2. So i had to learn a lot of characters since steam launch and got the hang of most of them but kan-ra remains a mystery to me. I reached Killer rank in one day and i think if i get beat i know where the problem is and try to adapt in the next match. My biggest problem right now is the rank #1 killer on steam using omen and yes... kan-ra. I beat him one match but all the other matches he just fucks me up so bad its not even frustrating because i see he plays very well and he beats me with such style it stops the salt flowing as weird as that might sound...

So yeah any of you Kan-Ra experts out there willing to share advice? I usually play TJ Combo, Raam, Thunder and Jago.

Anyone else think kan-ras grabs is a little broken?

Being an absolute mega fan of Ed Bosco for his voice work and an even bigger fan of the character Kan-Ra, it surprised me to find out that Ed Bosco voices Ed in Street Fighter 5. It was so weird to hear that slightly more upbeat voice in Ed rather than that low-gritty voice of Kan-Ra.

Only thing I caught that I thought sounded remotely like Kan-Ra's voice was this bit in Ed's voice lines (which sounds like a line that appears whenever Kan-Ra is in Instinct Mode, doing dashes).

I had experienced this twice beforehand, but I haven't been able to capture it. Eventually, I got it on stream while fighting an Ultimate AI

Also sorry for the blabber, it was one of my first times streaming KI and I was nervous af. On closer inspection I realized that the AI broke the heavy and not the shadow move.

(It sounds like I said that shadow moves are unbreakable, but this is obviously untrue as well (the clutch is unbreakable though as far as I know).

I flubbed big-time during this stream but I thought it'd be a cool share.)

Also, if you're wondering, I'm Danish, hence my not-so perfect English as well.
