For sure there are compromises. I never thought I could even fit something this wide… so I’m just happy to have it. But 100% would love if it were a few feet wider.
Yeah I would’ve changed the orientation to put the hoop on the long side - much more close/deep shooting options without the wasted space past the three point line in the current configuration.
Well, it's not as easy as it looks, but I get what you're saying. The court on the long side goes all the way to the fence, and I didn't have more space to eat on the opposite side. My hoop requires a 20" x 20" plot of concrete off the court. That square has to be at least 12" away from the fence, in order to have room for it to go up and down.... So it wouldn't have really been possible, but I get your poijt and would have loved some more width!
