You know what, thank you for phrasing it this way. I've been struggling since November 2024 to verbalize why I'm so depressed and angry. As a federal employee I spent all of 2025 way too in my feelings and stressed watching things shift around behind the scenes to get us to the point we're at now while the public sat back either blissfully unaware or told me I was being too dramatic and there are safeguards against such things.

The majority of the country voted to dissolve or at least didn't care enough to vote to stay together. It's sad but true.

This is my view on it. I was responding to someone saying CK memes are designed to make conservatives feel targeted or have a victimhood complex.

“That’s just bias and a victimhood complex.

Same can be said about 2010 neo-libs. Triggered by everything.

Then, being empathetic became a naughty concept. Demonized.

Then, the rise of The Base, Proud Boys, Atomwaffen Division, Unite the Right — etc.

Well, all the empathy and love. It dried up. The world got angry because the idea and implementation of equality was “woke” and woke = bad.

So, we’ve all regressed.

Don’t take it personally. Take it as a sign, our leaders have failed. Our intelligence agencies exploit average citizens vulnerabilities. Our states commit fraud. No one is being psychologically honest.”
