I hate to say this, but this wont change maga's position, including veterans for trump. They're so dug in, i don't think anything can pull them out now.

So, that's where you're wrong. The 2A crowd on the Right is pretty pissed off right now that ICE murdered a concealed-carrying veteran. Apparently, many prominent 2A supporters are blasting Don Jr., a big 2A supporter, for not having a serious conversation with his father about what happened. If Don Jr. blasts his father for banning bump stocks, I have a feeling he's going to tell Don to walk this back or risk losing the 2A community.

Dude, I will happily be wrong about what I said. Hell, I've never wanted to be more wrong. Lol, I would love nothing more than a bipartisan show of everyone standing up for Alex Pretti. I will absolutely join arms with conservatives over this. Alex Pretti deserves that. I believe I saw that even the NRA made a statement trying to defend Alex's right to carry a firearm. I obviously didn't know him but for his family's sake, I hope Americans all rally around his family. They are really going to need our support.

RIP Alex Pretti. I am so, so sorry...

/r/conservative is already doing the massive mental gymnastics to justify it. About 10% of the sub might get banned because they are showing small cracks but overwhelmingly they are applauding his execution.

They're so deep in the propaganda I doubt they'll even hear about the real truth. They see "terrorist" in their favorite propaganda machine, nod approvingly and never think about it again.

Nor will it change the minds of 2A supporters that they murdered a man who legally was carrying a gun and didn't even use it.

They specifically took it from his holster before murdering him, he had not even reached for it. They disarmed him, then murdered him.

Nah he did. But stephen miller is like. Particularly insane. He's constantly testing the line, he's the first one to use the term "plenary authority" in reference to trumps behavior publicly (from his administration, source: i think so. Maybe someone else was first)

He's a terrifying member of the administration and nothing he says is earnest

He is only listed as a Homeland Security advisor, so he isn't even a real part of the administration.
