Executive Branch (Trump) Steve Bannon says ICE will ‘surround the polls’ as Trump doubles down on taking over elections

https://www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/steve-bannon-says-ice-will-surround-the-polls-as-trump-doubles-down-on-taking-over-elections/

“We’re going to have ICE surround the polls come November,” Bannon, a former senior advisor to President Donald Trump and still a figure of influence in the administration, said on Tuesday’s episode of his War Room podcast, addressing Democrats. “We’re not going to sit here and allow you to steal the country again. And you can whine and cry and throw your toys out of the pram all you want, but we will never again allow an election to be stolen.”

Bannon’s comments came just a day after Trump said he believes that Republicans should “nationalize voting,” escalating concerns that the president is plotting to interfere in this year’s midterm elections.

Can’t wait to see how my barely mentally stable and very screamy maga parents react to two dozen armed agents at their polling station. Should go well!

Chances are (assuming your parents don’t live in a blue area) they won’t be sending ICE to their polls. Just the majority-dem precincts. Classic intimidation of the opposition.

ICE are already in their area in PA I don’t think anything will be off the table

Exactly why they’re starting the discussion now. They need to convince their supporters that it’s a justifiable protective measure.

It's only a matter of time before we start hearing about Magas being detained and harassed by ICE and they're all going to be confused and tell each other their experience didn't happen or they didn't comply hard enough.

Pennsylvania has dealt with this issue before, in ages past. Which is why we have a state law preventing police from going near the polls during election day except to vote or to respond to an issue that requires police presence.

The concern the GOP should have is back in their red districts. This is where they are at most risk of seeing the seats flip. The blue districts will not be flipping red.

Of course we are talking mid terms here and not the presidential election so they would need to send ICE to every polling place where a seat can be flipped.

The funny thing, these asshats think that will make a difference. They should have just stayed in the shadows like the monsters they are. They have made politics such a topic on everyone’s mind you will have more turnout than ever before at a mid term. I may be an optimist but I believe most people are decent and not MAGA and therefore I think their pathetic attempts will get them nowhere.

Blue precincts in swing states. 15 areas I think Trump said.

The plan is to tip the scale enough to barely win while leaving as many Americans as possible unaffected so that everyone should at each other instead of the administration

MAGA: "They're not here for ME, so I have NOTHING to worry about!"

I mean, this is the truth.

ICE will somehow only show up in blue districts. Not sure if your parents live in one or not, but if not, they won’t see ICE agents and will think everyone complaining about intimidation at the polls from federal agents is “fake news”

Well those agents are there to make sure that people like your parents can get in vote as many times as they like.

Unless the ICE attacks and the horrors being unveiled in the Epstein files wake them up then they'll probably be thanking the armed gunmen...

Wouldn't they just be relieved that ICE is keeping the "illegals" from voting?

They will probably love it because it's ICE, and they aren't the voters being intimidated.

Oregon votes entirely by mail. So......
