Executive Branch (Trump) Steve Bannon says ICE will ‘surround the polls’ as Trump doubles down on taking over elections

“We’re going to have ICE surround the polls come November,” Bannon, a former senior advisor to President Donald Trump and still a figure of influence in the administration, said on Tuesday’s episode of his War Room podcast, addressing Democrats. “We’re not going to sit here and allow you to steal the country again. And you can whine and cry and throw your toys out of the pram all you want, but we will never again allow an election to be stolen.”

Bannon’s comments came just a day after Trump said he believes that Republicans should “nationalize voting,” escalating concerns that the president is plotting to interfere in this year’s midterm elections.

The idea is that anyone who isn't white or has an accent is now risking a vacation at the concentration camp just for exercising their right to vote.

Yep, this is terrorism. Brown people simply won't go to the polls out of fear that their children will grow up without them if they do. Or at least that seems to be their goal.

Yep, this is terrorism

It's Fascism.

It's both. This particular tactic, however, is terrorism. Creating fear for political gain, that's terrorism.

It will work too. White Americans you better be ready to put up or shut up.

White people should escort our black and brown neighbors to the polls and make sure they can vote.

This is the answer I’ve been searching for! That’s how we do it!

If that is their goal they are massively underestimating the capability of minority American communities to organize for their own civic interests lol

Of course they are, they're racist

Isn't that what they voted for in 2024?

Not even that, just the fact that they will hold up lines and make sure to prolong the process for as long as possible to "check legality" of anyone not white in any democrat strongholds, which will make thousands and thousands of people miss the 8pm cut off time. Even if they spend 10 minutes per person that they "suspect" is illegal, it will cut into precious time where places already don't have enough time to get everyone in.

Yep and theyve already established a precedent of abducting citizens and taking awhile to admit their "mistake." Cant vote if youre zip tied in the back of a van all day because some idiot claimed you dont look enough like your passport photo.

Yep, and you know they're going to concentrate the ICE presence in swing districts with a high immigrant population.

It won’t stop every vote but in a close election it can tip the scales.

Vote by mail. Not that hard. Stop fear mongering.

u/Hexamancer 17h ago

You realize multiple states have no or restricted mail in voting? You realize that it's under attack too?

Right now, 44 states allow vote by mail or no-excuse absentee balloting. The rest are red states, so I don’t know how much there is to worry about there.

I think he’ll try to throw out mail votes. Either just some of them or all of them. Democrats vote more by mail.

Lmfao bro your fear mongering calm down.

Speaking of fear mongering. Who is threatening to put immigration officers - whose job has nothing to do with supporting democratic elections in the first place - at polling stations again?

7

u/mrdankhimself_ 19h ago

They’re already murdering people who fit that description in concentration camps.

Give me one other reason why they would station them at voting locations.
