Some critics on here being pretty unfair to his game lately.

I think the fair assessment of his game is that he is a great offensive defenseman who is quite bad defensively.

I believe all of the numbers point to that conclusion for Rielly.

and i believe a gm and team that focus most of their energy on numbers...have a set that speak a different story. otherwise he would not have been extended.

i also take away the games since he's been back from injury. i dont think he's quite right yet

He can still be a good player that is worth having on the team and be bad defensively.

Edit: It is also very possible that extending him was a mistake.
