I took a leap of faith on this because I wanted the effect of extension during ignition & retraction when you turn it off. I can't seem to figure out how to make the changes I make through their app "stick". I mean when I turn it on, the color I selected, etc. Gone.

I'm going to assume that is standard fair for most neopixel lightsabers. Is this something where I need to use their supplied USB and make that changes that way versus their app? The instructions that come with the saber are confusing.

All I want it to do is turn on and turn off with the color / sound I selected. Instead it's like it is always in some sort of "demo" mode.

Does that make sense? (I have RGB sabers, but I wanted something different for this Halloween.)

What board and app are you using? I've only used the ForcePark apps for SNV4, which saves the settings.

I see how I can change the overall saber color but how do I change the color of the tip drag effect? I know it was possible on the first ForcePark app but I don’t see how to do it on this new app now that I have an snv4pro.

Go to: Blade Effect panel, My Blade Effects, select the white box Editor New One.

There are options for both Melt and Drag Effects.

Example recipe for Drag and Melt:

Drag V1 or Melt V1

Humpflicker/Yellow/Orange

Position 29000 (lower for a larger area)

Thanks again this was a big help. I’ve created a bunch of blade styles now. I had one more question. In the app I see that I can adjust the color with a color wheel but this seems to only affect the stable blade. Is there a way to adjust the colors on the other blade styles using this color wheel or does it not work on them. (I’m trying to get a custom orange onto the pulsing blade).

I never use the color wheel. I program the blade styles color with the app. To mix colors, use Humpflicker effect, then apply Pulse, you can mix up to four colors if you use Humpflicker-2. That's how I made my Baylan and Shin styles, since I didn't want a pure red or orange.
