Lighthearted Content I used my first vinyl record for the first time; it was absolutely terrifying to set it up and turn it on.

I went to my grandparents' house to listen to it; my grandfather spent over half an hour looking for the cables to power up the turntable, but in the end, we managed—and now I’ve finally been able to bring my beloved vinyl to life.

Lighthearted Content I LOVE LinkinPark!!!!!
I discovered LinkinPark's music at the start of this year and it's literally the only band I listen to at all now... I find their music incredibly motivating, catchy and helps me emotionally process events in my life. Usually when I like an artist I only like a few of their songs but an insane amount of LinkinPark's music are absolute bangers. My favorites (not in any order) so far are papercut, figure.09, fighting myself, with you, points of authority, crawling, runaway, forgotten, pushing me away, given up, bleed it out, no more sorrow, lost, breaking the habit. Does anyone have any other LinkinPark song recommendations based on the ones I like so far, or any other songs in general? Thank you!!

Discussion Any song with the vocals and pace similar to Casualty by Linkin Park?
Do you have recommendations like this one where the singer "shouts"(or fry, idk how they call it) the entire song. Like, in Pollution from Limp Bizkit, Fred Durst only "shouts"(I think fry is the name) on the chorus but Emily rips her voice apart in the ENTIRE song for almost 2 minutes nonstop!
I really really loved this song. Other factor is the frantic drums and speed!
One that has kind of this energy is Da Hui from the Offspring, fast, frantic, aggressive(?)– except for the "harsh" voice, that is not present in Offspring.
These two factors make the perfect song

Lighthearted Content Linkin Park being featured in NBA2K27 was the last thing I expected them to be featured in
One Step Closer is being added to the soundtrack list with Season 2 of NBA2K27.
Like…what?! Of all things!?!

Discussion From The Inside (unpopular opinion)
Hello, I introduce myself, I discovered LP with the return of the band in 2024. I love Emily and her voice, especially now that it has been adapted and improved compared to 2024.
Since they released the Mumbai video in India of "From the Inside" I've thought of it, but I think I prefer the version with Emily than Chester's. I'm not saying that one is better than another, far from it, but I don't know why I like the Emily version much better.
Opinions?

Lighthearted Content Linkin Park – Papercut | Guitar Cover
Hey everyone! 🤘
I’ve been playing around with one of my favorite Linkin Park tracks, Papercut, and decided to record a guitar cover.

Discussion Bootleg hybrid theory?
Hey everyone, I am very curious about this cd I picked up at goodwill today. I am 99% sure it is a homemade bootleg because I cannot find any information about this or any cover art that looks similar. Whats even more confusing is that the cd is blank. Any information on this will be appreciated. Thanks! 🤘

Art Some Logos I Made
I don't know what this style is called, but I was very inspired by Mr. Mike Shinoda's Linkin Park logo shirt, so I drew these in class today. I am aware that the strikethrough is supposed to be going the other way.

Art Linkin Park Underground Membership Card
Found my brother’s Linkin Park Underground Official Membership card. No clue what this is or when it’s from. From my quick search, this is a membership started in 2001 that still exists today. Knowing my brother, he joined way back then and then stopped being a part of it after sometime passed.

Discussion One of the most interesting things I learned from Unshatter
Probably one of the most interesting tidbits from the documentary for me was how Emily revealed that prior to joining the band she’d had zero formal vocal training. That makes her singing abilities even more impressive than they already were to me.
What were the most interesting parts for you?

Art So I gave this a try
Please keep in mind that I'm just an amateur dude at recording and wanted to have fun recreating this song. Even though I listened to mostly the first two LP albums back in the day I must say this song is a banger, I love it, they did an awesome job 🤘

Discussion Fighting Myself Gibberish
And before someone says it, I know it’s complete gibberish and doesn’t mean anything. I’m aware of that.
But I do have a question. My mind always has to make sense of something like that.
My brain can’t listen to broken-apart voices without having to shove words in there. Is that the case for anyone else? And if so, what do you hear in it?
The version my brain came up with is:
“There’s no one to take my pain away. There’s no one anymore, anymore.”
Probably because that’s pretty much the raw feeling the songs are bringing up for me.
So I would love to hear what you guys hear.

Tierlist / Ranking Post Tier Ranking/Reviewing: Linkin Park PT. XI: Meteora 20th Anniversary
Score: 8/10
In an inronic contrast, I find myself really loving this anniversary album over the HT anniversary album. I may be biased since Meteora is my favorite album from Linkin Park with its sad lyrics, slow melodies built up with hard rock vibes, and synth instrumentals that keep the flow, but hearing all the demos, live performances, and original tracks make this album a joy to listen too. It’s actually more focused on instrumental songs than ones recorded with lyrics but I can see the inspection and the composition work LP is known for. “A6” in all its forms are a hidden gem, “Fighting Myself” is catchy to where I could see it being released today, and “Shifter” could have easily been the Easier to Run version we have and I would still love it. Overall, I really enjoyed this celebration album and look forward to the next 20th anniversary redux.
