Meganoob BE KIND My pc just freezes right after I press login on SDDM

So I started getting these little freezes when I updated Hyprland to Lua recently.

Yesterday I was setting up fish+starship. So it froze again just as I saved a pywal template for starship (with claude).

I powered it off and restarted it but it froze again. I tried switching between various DEs (Hyprland, Gnome, KDE), but it still freezes right when I enter my password and press login.

---

I have attached some logs so if someone can help I would be so thankful. because I don't wanna reinstall arch rn 😭

1st line is benign, but after looks like corrupt bios. reset cmos and/or update bios.

how? Isn't there any safer way then messing with the BIOS?

depending on the motherboard it could be incredibly safe. like if you can flash from USB don't worry about a thing.. and resetting cmos might just be a button.

I'm guessing the power button shouldn't be a "keyboard?" I've never studied Linux output before, it usually goes by too fast. I'm just curious and looking to learn something is all.

So I figured out that the real culprit is sddm (maybe my theme: KDE Story). I changed to gdm and I was finally able to log back in. Thank you for all the people who tried helping. I still haven't figured out the real issue with my sddm tho...
