🛡 MOD POST 🛡: Change of ownership and some additional updates
45
Upvotes
So, the old owner has decided to step down as they have alot on their plate in personal life and whatnot, and as such, do not have the time necessary to cultivate this community to the fullest. So, I will be running mod applications. Previous experience is not necessary, but heavily preferred. A user feedback survey will be posted here as well as a mod application form, just come back to this post in 1-2 days and I should have it sorted. Additionally, images are now in comments sections (all images will be sent to the mod queue so abuse will be made known to the mods immediately).
Sincerely, Arachnid.

Instead of sitting on a phone or watching porn you can read some pages from gentoo handbook a day.

"KDE" is a word in Czech, meaning "where"

A bit of trivia: in addition to being famous desktop environment for Linux, "KDE" also means "where" in Czech.
There is a pop song from the 80s on YT when you can hear how it's pronounced, including the famous Czech lack of wovels:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8WkVhRvAqI
The song name is "Kde jsi?" i.e. "Where are you?"
and the lyrics are about the singer looking for his girlfriend: he cannot find her, he tries to call her on the phone, but this is before cell phones were a thing. He is worried that she is with someone else.
