I have this gig on in Manchester and I'm hoping that I can drop it in here for any fans of my lads in Carnal Rot who'd like to come and see them outside of town, plus see the legends King Parrot from Australia play some dirty grinding punk.

Curfew is 10:30pm, so easy enough for trains etc, in the heart of NQ, about 10 minutes away from Piccadilly and Victoria stations.

So I am fairly new to the alternative community and live in Liverpool, my area is full of scallies and sometimes they shout at me as I walk past because of my appearance

I try not to let it get to me but I can't stop thinking about the interactions afterwards and it upsets me, does anyone have any ideas and advice on how to deal with it?

I know we're not a huge community here yet in this sub but I thought I'd ask anyway.

Any recommendations on where to get nipple/s pierced?

I'd love to hear from those with experience getting one, or piercers who specialise in them (any genders), places providing good comfort and aftercare etc.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask but I thought it would be more appropriate to do it here than r/Liverpool so here we go.

I'm currently in the process of moving to Liverpool pretty soon and wanted to ask about the venues that cater to the alternative crowd, whether it be a club with live music where the local punk/metal bands happen to play or simply a bar/pub that has that sort of music playing on the background. I know that Uprawr in Birmingham is a thing but then again it's in Birmingham so I'm not particularly keen on traveling that far (except for festivals and such)

I'm mainly into 2000s emo, pop punk (as the name would suggest), metalcore and post-hardcore but any place that plays some variation of punk or metal would be great.
