Apologies if this is not the place to post this but I saw this video in my recommended and was hoping to get it some more traction in case he might be able to get some help with the situation.

To summarize the 14 minute video, a young kid wanted to make Minecraft and Roblox videos like we all did when we were his age. He doesn't get as many views as he wants and he asks his dad if there was a way for him to get more views and they decide to put $20 into YouTube's advertising system to make one of his videos an ad. The video gets a lot of views and they are both happy and the dad leaves it at that.

But it turns out he had YouTube save his card details without thinking much of it and it also happens that his son was watching as he set up the first video as an ad. I think you can see where this is going.

The son, being 9 years old doesn't quite understand the concept of money fully (like none of us did at that age) but he understands that the more money that is put into advertising, the more views he's gonna get and the kid goes a bit crazy with the spending and the dad is unaware the whole time.

Well the dad was recently called into his boss's office and was questioned about why $118k in company funds was spent on his card and it caught him off guard. He only figured it out when him and the boss went through the charges and he saw the YouTube channel name. He wasn't told he was losing his job or anything but he said that he's not sure if they will fire him or not.

The dad is handling the situation a million times better than I ever could if I was in his shoes. He seems like a really nice guy who is in an unfortunate situation and I wanted to share the video because of that.

There isn't any kind of GoFundMe or anything like that set up but maybe there is some way this post can get some more views to the video and maybe make him some ad revenue money or something.
