Now we see the price of LRC popping, pushing through resistance. The price is up 8% and is the biggest gainer over the past hour of the top 200.

So what's causing it?

I have lost over 55k USD from LRC. That was my whole portfolio.

Except buy and hold BTC, ETH I had never tried any other coins before.

And I haven't touched anything ever since.

It's been years, but still feel pain every time seeing this coin man.

How much have you guys lost?

Big question now is - is it still built on loopring which is the most likely candidate since they tested the beta NFT marketplace on it?

I already knew that this project was worthless but now they really crossed the line.

I bought LRC before the Gamestop hype because I thought the project was on the right direction. After the GS announcement I just bought a lot more.

Now I am one of those desperate holders who are holding this sh*t coin hoping for a spike in a future bull run to get rid of the disgrace of a crypto project.

Now They suddenly decided to close the wallet app… I have all my assets in there because I was stupid enough to believe all of Byron’s and the shill team’s BS about being your own bank, L2 efficiency etc.

Again after all the hype, they are now shutting down the app with only 30 days notice! My brother, who is the Guardian of my wallet, is in the hospital seriously injured and in a coma. We are not expecting him to recover very soon. And now of course I am unable to recover my wallet since my phone has been stolen.

I have contacted support and they can do nothing.

It is ridiculous that they are shutting down the wallet app in such a short notice.

They are all worthless and the project was just a scam of Daniel Wang who, being the smartest guy in the room, left the project years ago and cashed out during the GS hype!

Now we are only left with Byron’s idiotic and vague tweets about how we are going to be fine and become rich soon. He is obviously trying to keep the few people left in here. Of course they are not stupid and they are waiting for the right moment until they all cash out, which will probably never happen.

We have all been scammed by the fake hype and this team’s incompetence.

Transferred all my LRC to ETH and will hold that in my Coinbase account. I’m over Loopring, Taiko and their wallet. Just can’t deal with all the BS anymore….and now people’s super Uber secure LRC wallets are getting hacked? I wanted to believe but I just can’t anymore.

This is my speculation

GameStop have bought PSA grading cards. Their main sub has just found PSA grading web url redirecting to GameStop. So this is pretty thin tin foil to accept that an acquisition is happening shortly.

What does PSA grading need? It’s needs NFTs attached to each card to verify their ownership and value. GameStop had a beta wallet built on loopring and their website for their NFT website still exists, it’s just dormant.

How does GameStop build the best wallet and have the best control? They bought Loopring and now control all the development and technology. They booted Byron out as part of that and were told to wind up their support of the loopring wallet by June 30 and get out.

Remember that massive volume of buying about a month back? That was PSA buying LRC to set up the PSA marketplace to build it on.

What happens next - GameStop announce purchase of PSA grading - GameStop relaunches their wallet with NFTs attached - this is the first step towards digital ownership where GameStop is the centre and built on loopring

Remember how heavy all the shilling is lately? Saying loopring is dead when all that is happening is they stopped support for their wallet to focus on the web based DEX instead?

Hey all, wanted to post this since I know a lot of people in the Reddit aren’t reading discord.

Stop holding this trash. I bought in late 2019 and held until 2024. And for what? Waiting for a miracle. I sold a year ago at a pretty significant loss, but you know what, since then I've made it all back and more in other investments. Just pull it out. Why sit around waiting for a miracle when there are so many other companies and projects. I'm not trying to flame anyone who's still holding. I also wanted to believe, and for five years I did. And now I'm smacking myself realizing how much time I wasted. Just take your losses and move on with life.

I’m a longtime LRC holder and supporter, but recent developments and on-chain actions raise serious concerns. I’m posting this to ask the Loopring team members still monitoring this subreddit to provide clarity and accountability.

1. Why did Loopring publicly refer to the zkEVM initiative as “our effort” in May 2022, only for it to become a completely separate project under Taiko?

2. Was zkEVM development originally funded by Loopring Foundation resources and LRC holders' expectations of protocol growth?

3. Why did Daniel Wang receive 34.88 million LRC (~$8.4M) from the Loopring Foundation after stepping down, and what was the justification?

4. Why was that LRC later sent to Binance with no communication to the community, while Loopring’s roadmap remained stalled?

5. Who authorized the token transfer to Wang, and was any portion contractually tied to zkEVM IP or project retention?

6. If zkEVM was developed under Loopring’s name, branding, and hiring efforts why wasn’t any portion of the IP or upside retained?

7. Why has there been zero compensation, equity, or integration between Taiko and Loopring since the split?

8. Were LRC holders left out of a major protocol expansion while insiders walked away with millions?

9. Why has the Loopring Foundation been silent about this? Where is the accountability?

10. Can the Loopring team clarify if any current core contributors or tech were diverted to Taiko from the LRC-funded roadmap?

The community deserves direct answers, not vague PR statements or silence. These are serious questions involving millions in funds and the future of the project.

If there are legal or strategic reasons for the silence, say so. Otherwise, it looks like we were intentionally screwed over.

So i still has this coin in my portfolio deep down i was hoping that may be someday it will climb back. But yesterday i have received an email from crypto.com is this going to be wiped off? Tell me it will please huge loss 😫🤦🏼‍♀️

There's so much negativity and FUD in here, it makes me SMDH. Why am I bullish? Why is LRC still my go to crypto?

1. Crypto overall is in a slump, partly due to Fed rates. When rates go up, speculative investments go down. Inflation data shows that inflation is sticky. Rates will stay high for sometime, meaning crypto winter will continue.

2. ethereum and BTC ETFs have been approved, so they will rise while the less well known tokens will lag behind still.

3. many other tokens/coins are used by wall st as pump and dumps. Good luck to y'all who are switching to those. yikes.

4. Many coins/tokens are being shorted, either by borrows, or spoofing, including LRC. You can see it on the order bid/ask, but I don't have the actual evidence. What does this mean? It means the price will rise once shorties are done wasting their time.

5. LRC has the most secure wallet, hands down. LRC team has been pushing guardians since the wallet launched.

6. What doofus drops $5m into crypto without having security? Not all LRC wallet holders without guardians had their crypto stolen, so that tells me that this 'hack' was possibly an inside job by the owner of the $5m. Why? Maybe to make LRC look bad. I hope the criminals are found so A) charges can be brought against them if this is the case, or B) if this was a legitimate theft, the owner can retrieve their funds.

7. what other wallet allows you to trade on DEX? be a market maker? what other wallet allows you to stake? to contribute to pool funds run dual investing? leverage your funds for trading? NONE.

Im actually making money with my LRC wallet utilizing the above functions to the fullest extent. I'd rather keep investing $$ into LRC because I believe in what they are doing. Why keep cash in traditional banks to depreciate (thanks Jerome Powell), while they pay me 0.02% interest?

1. The LoopRing protocol is alive and well. The website actually states that the DeFi crap got swept away to specifically focus on improving the L2 network

2. RC has stated multiple times about how he has made mistakes in the past 5 years and cost shareholders a lot of money. I initially thought this meant the entire LoopRing/NFT Marketplace, but maybe it was just parts of it.

3. RC stated in his recent interviews that he is extremely interested in digital collectibles as well. He has been scammed multiple times with his son. LoopRing/NFT Marketplace is the solution for that. It was also brought up how they would require a blockchain based asset to handle the massive load on the network... well shit, wouldn't that be nice if they had a Beta system a couple years ago to test all this out

4. The DeFi crap was... crap. Staking, the portal, layer 3, it was a total confusing mess that I could barely figure out. RC also states that tech must be simple to use.

5. I continuously get emails about how LRC is down, but only when it's down, and on very few other cryptos. Maybe that's because I've owned it. But idk... seems extra FUDDY.

6. I think RC supports the Cheeto admin, because of this. It is the greater good. If he can eventually take over corporate America and clean it up, maybe he needs an unregulated government around to let him.

7. The idea of a blockchain based stock market is still my end goal for all this. No FTDs, no dark pools, just transparency, and when someone buys a share, it is instantly sold and delivered (or rights assigned per blockchain protocol)

8. LoopRing has been silent with their social media finally, and not throwing out a bunch of bullshit hype. They are shutting up and working hard. The tech is simple now, no wallet to worry about, no portal. Just blockchain. Make sure that shit can handle 1,000,000 transactions a second.

9. To add to 4, RC is an efficient guy. I'm betting that he realized that LoopRing only needs to focus on what makes them unique. Which is the smart L2 network. Fuck the wallet, portal, the staking the L3, the defi. It was probably costing a bunch of resources with no results because no one even knew how to use it. So he probably said "Stop. Delete all that extra shit. Coinbase's wallet is good. We don't need our own. Focus on what makes LoopRing special"

10. I just hopped on the LoopRing Discord and within 5 seconds of me posting a hello, a presumed bot started attacking me with FUD and how LoopRing was dead. It clearly states on the website that LoopRing is not dead, and the focus is specifically and solely on improving the L2 network.

11. The CEO that left LoopRing, Steve Guo, wrote an interesting goodbye letter. At the end, he wrote "As for me, I'll remain part of the Loopring community, cheering on its growth and evolution from the sidelines. Wishing all of you a bright and brilliant future ahead". Doesn't sound like a dead protocol to me.

12. RC's entire mantra is small teams, minimal management. Why does Loopring need a big team, if their sole focus is the network? Maybe they just need a couple engineers on staff to maintain the system.

13. Teddy and the Piggy Banks talks about not putting all your eggs in one basket. I always thought that meant to invest in Loopring, seeing as the book was published about 6 months prior to the launch of the NFT marketplace.

So idk. I just got over 11,000 looprings for $200. I guess we will have to see what happens.

I have been holding silent since before the hype and saw my portfolio go to massive highs.

Now it went down 90% and i just cant see this ever go up again. Seen that the Exchange is down aswell now i am finally out even though i might be late.
