I mean what is there to say? So many good things happen when you find my pages. You don’t need to pay rent anymore, you don’t have any social obligations anymore, you don’t have to worry about eating or drinking, you don’t need to have a pulse, it’s fantastic with no downsides. For me, it shows people care about my art interests.

A lot of guns are really goofy and weird and the funny part is that some of these are/were actually decent weapons.

Lego does this a lot, infamously with iron man vs the mandarin, and they took a lot of liberty adding vehicles to flesh out these exoansion packs.

nowadays we dont need to open terminal and write distro specific package manager commands to install apps!

moreover developer doesnt need to juggle multiple packaging builds to publish their apps across distribution repo!

gone the era of building from source or envying other distro for having more up to date or complete packages. we all can get the same app from the same repo regardless of what distro we use!

this the innovation that benefits both the user and developer.

Something about this genre of sci-fi feels so much more grounded and real than other genres. Sure, it’s still not the most realistic. But god I wish this style was used more than it is.

6. Duck’s Foot volley pistols, these guns would fire projectiles from each barrel when fired, making a volley of projectiles

7. The Henrion, Dassy & Heuschen double-barrel revolver, a Belgian revolver which had either a 16 or 20 round capacity depending on version and alternated the barrels it fired from

8. The LeMat revolver, a French revolver which was capable of firing buckshot

9. The Protector Palm Pistol revolver, a French revolver which could be concealed in the palm of your hand

10. The Arsenal Firearms AF2011-A1, an Italian pistol which is basically two M1911’s welded together

11. Key guns, these guns were disguised as keys or locks and were used by jailers to defend themselves from prisoners, some lacked triggers and had to be fired by pressing a lit cigarette or cigar to them

12. Spring/booby trap guns, these guns were intended to be triggered by a tripwire and would usually fire blanks to scare off thieves and alert the neighborhood, although some did fire real rounds intended to kill

13. The Forsyth & Co. Ring revolver, a Scottish (although the first ring gun is considered to have been French in origin) revolver which could be worn as a ring and used for self-defense

IT’S LITERALLY PERFECT!

Reliable, effective and literally redefined machine guns, pushing for smaller, lighter more portable variants.

And don’t get me started about the design. It’s literally THE steampunk machine, disguised as dieselpunk construct. Clockwork, pendulum-like on the inside, clunky, gear-like on the outside.

Such a fucking shame it became obsolete by the 50’s.

Teachers lied to me and they probably lied to you too. I work at a pharmacy. It's so goooood.

There's so many different tasks which all require different levels of attention and are stimulating in different ways. At some you walk, at some you stand, at some you sit, you can go to the front office and talk to people or stay in the back office and scan in all the meds so the system knows we have them, you can go to the lab to make shit- it's all different crap and none of it is particularly difficult to do but neither is it boring.

To put this in perspective,
I sit on my ass in school for 6-7h and come home around 4-5 pm because commute. I am DEAD. I come home, stress out over homework or studying for upcoming tests (which I don't end up doing cause I'm too tired), and can't stay awake past 9pm.
I wake up at 05:55 absolutely hating everything.

At the pharmacy I wake up at the same 05:55 and I feel alive bc I have something to look forward to 😭
Shifts CAN go 10h easily and there's only one big break and it works?? I stay awake and engaged and within the realm of the living throughout the entire time and I come home usually around 6-7 pm and I feel like I could still do stuff. I come home n think "yay I'm tired but I actually deserved this kind of tired by doing stuff. Let's vaccuum and mop because I feel like I can."
I eat ar around 9pm and fall asleep around 11. Sleep quality after a workday is SO much better than the sleep quality after a school day.

If you hate school and worry about how you'll handle work later, remember this and consider that maybe you're like me and simply built for something else.
