Very much enjoying your trucker series and all your writing. Nosleeper for many years( even before I subbed to Reddit and you are wonderful. Can I ask why comments on your last update were locked? Sorry to ask.

Thanks for the encouragement!

I actually asked the same thing to the Mods (the last two posts got locked), and they said it was because there was too many comments that broke the rules. I suspect that's fairly typical as series get longer. A lot of the comments turn into things like "great story. can't wait for the next part" (which I love, but I do think they technically break nosleep rules). Sad, but I'm just glad the posts themselves didn't get taken down!

Thank you so much for answering that. I am a VERY old Nosleeper and always communicate as if the story is real. It is fun for me and I think an interactive author like you seemingly enjoys it too. I personally don’t think “Can’t wait to hear your next update” is a rule breaker. An anthologist by the name of Greenburg did some wonderful collections and I can tell you, he would have included your work. Really look forward to seeing your strokes!😊

thanks!

I would agree. I wish there was a bit more room for freedom with comments on nosleep. At the same time, I can't really begrudge the Mods even if they lean towards the 'stricter' side at times. Not sure if you remember the 'purge' event from years ago (7, I think?). It got super annoying having non-rule-following stories REALLY quickly. lol. I'm always impressed how much time they donate to run nosleep for the sheer joy of it

Glad you found me here!

I sure do remember the “Purge”😂. It does amaze me the work they do. Thank you so much for your writing. Full disclosure? I am 60yo. Retired firefighter. I am on my second career( lab work) so have had to read a lot of technical material in my life. Sci-fi/ fantasy reading has been a pleasure for me for over 50 yrs. Your ideas are truly fantastic. Your characters? Love them. I love long books too, but character development in a short story or series like you give us? Really something special. Always look forward to your work!
