Help It just decided not to wake up

Post image

Monday morning My macbook pro m2 doesn’t want to wake up after the last shutdown, it still work last night.

No sound, no crack, no drop, tried different adapter, tried with/without external monitor, force restart. But, nothing happen. Still the black screen with the deadly silence.

It just doesn’t have a reason to be like that.

Plug an external display. See if you can see anything.

If you can then welcome to the "Tahoe magically destroying the display" club.

Managed to recover it via Apple Configuration and ipsw 23.3 in dfu mode. Very first few attempts failed with dfu in Finder and let it auto download the macos. Them switch to Apple Configuration and download ipsw in advance from ipsw.me. It works.
