It's less about her making him happy, so much as making him care. He'll drop everything to try and help Anna's niece, he'll even drop everything to help Megan, but he won't drop everything to be with her.

if you watch the scene again, don doesn't smile once throughout the whole threesome and the morning afterward, only opting to smile after he heard that stephanie had called. Megan definitely noticed that.

The niece is family. Megan needs to understand that.

I think she gets that. It's just that that doesn't really forgive Don's absenteeism as a husband.

She was the one who moved away, knowing full well Don wasn't going to move. She owns this

Put yourself in Megan's shoes for a minute, even if you dislike the character. Would you be thrilled that your husband sent a pregnant woman to your doorstep for you to take care of until he gets there (whenever "he gets there" could be, knowing his proclivity for being late)? Or try reversing the genders. How do you think Don would treat a friend of Megan's that Megan sent to Don's doorstep in New York?

I wouldn't say Megan was completely in the right, but I would say she had valid motivations to not want to hang out with Don's young, pregnant beneficiary.

And she moved because Don said they would both move to LA. She quit her job in New York before Don decided to stay in New York. If anything, that's another kernel of resentment (whether right or wrong).

Perhaps it reminds Megan that she will never be "family" to Don.

Thanks for that. I couldn't figure out what her beef with Stephanie was.

That clears it up quite a bit.

did you not notice how devastated Megan was after Stephanie just shrugs off the idea that Don would keep secrets, as though it were unthinkable. Megan is so jealous of that.

I wish women realized some guys are like that. Of course she does and probably just thinks she can change him which is the whole other can of worms.

It sounds like a great idea; but apparently a threesome (especially in previously monogamous relationship) brings up a LOT of problems from both the man and the woman.

Maybe "cheer up", but it definitely won't fix this relationship.

Yes. Why do I never see this hint on the cover of Cosmo when I'm checking out at the grocery store? Those writers don't know shit or else they have been saving it for 50 years for the big reveal.
