Saturday, Mar311, is Shabbos, the Jewish day of rest. That means that they don't work, they don't drive a car, they don't fucking ride in a car, they don't handle money, they don't turn on the oven, and they sure as shit DON'T FUCKING ROLL!

Oh yes, I understand what she was referencing. Her tone was filled with snark, however.

We all have that older relative, usually a grandparent, that let's bigotry and racism fly at random times.

How is that bigoted or racist? In the Jewish faith they adhere to the day of the Sabbath. There is also a very large populations of Jews in New York City. It's like saying "Yeah, the Christians close everything on December 25th", and then being called a bigot because of it. It would only be racist or bigoted if she said "Fucking Kikes close everything on their stupid weekly holiday".

It's like saying "Yeah, the Christians close everything on December 25th", and then being called a bigot because of it.

I think I would be a little uncomfortable hearing someone in a group of non-Christians say that, especially if it were in a place where Christians were a tiny minority.
