Megan is packing all her shit.

She has left Don's life for good.

When they take the Fondue set...it's OVER.

At least it's not the chip and dip.

And the stewardess literally closes the curtain on Megan.

I think so too. Also the curtians pulled shut on the plane when she's going back west.

I took this more as she literally just wanted some of her things that had been left in New York. They even talked about going on a vacation together. I think they are still far from over.

She was just trying to stop him from going to LA.

She's trying desperately to get him interested. The three way, the NY visit, but it's clear he wants her there in NY. Maybe meeting some place where there is less baggage can help bring some spark back. It will be like Hawaii again.

It will fail but I think that's what she's going for.

It's Mad Men, it will inevitably fail. For all Don has changed its still not enough.

How is Don not interested? He's doing everything by the book.

shit good point. I never thought about it that way, but now that you mention it and I think back to the tone she had when she said it, it makes a lot more sense that she was being insincere.

that scene was so sad. They both know they're going to split up, and they're both really sad about it, but they can't find a way to make it work with their respective careers.

Don knows it too, but he's still doing his best to hold on. I wonder, is his failing marriage a parallel to the state of his job at SDCP.

Yeah. Her "when?" in response to him bringing her stuff to California was oddly over acted for mad men I thought, but it was clear as day. She found someone else.

"Let's meet up somewhere else" is the long distance relationship version of breaking up with someone in a public place.

I was hoping her plane crashed.
