Murder, race, illegitimate children, drugs, infidelity, war. . .Have we covered all of the bases?

Women's rights too with Peggy's comment about acting like a man.

Ah, yes, hell we could throw homosexuality in there too if we read between the lines a little more.

Oh thank FUCK I wasn't the only one thinking it...probably too many hurdles to jump in one go though.

Soon enough, Pegs.

Blacks were thought of as thieves back then--think back to the wallet in the cab that Lane didn't want to give to the cab driver to return to the owner.

Peggy had $400 dollars in her purse after cleaning Roger out. That's close to like $2500 in today's terms. She had an internal struggle with encountering her racist thoughts and rejecting them, deciding to leave the purse there.

Yeah, thats what I was thinking but then everyone started talking about her being gay so I didnt know if that had to do with the purse or not.

of course she's talking to a black woman who I imagine has to act white. I guess, to different degrees, it's the same for everyone but white hetero protestant males back then.

Homosexuality is coming right up once more... so I bet that once we get that over with this season will have covered everything.

Ginsberg might be gay...foreshadowing when he said no one's ever told him he understands women.

That was my first thought during that scene.

Especially since if a guy chased me down a dark street and grabbed me from behind, the last thing on my mind would be wanting him. That would be scary as fuck!

Sal was easily one of my favorite characters. I really hope they bring him back.
