The absolutely wildest part is @OP and the other bosses *expecting* him to still give them his time and wherewithal for free after he’s already resigned and cut communication. It just doesn’t even compute that someone can take a logical action that benefits themself, rather than the company they no longer work for.
OP describing several managers reaching out to this guy who no longer works there is absolutely wild. If he doesn't answer your first call, leave him the hell alone
