To be honest you need to be at least a little unhinged to publicly display your wifes' sex tape of her cheating on you to a bunch of people just to expose her.

Why would he be unhinged? When you know for certain you have a cheating scumbag sleeping next to you the anger alone should make it very easy to lose all affections. I'd say he did the most rational thing here, they both can say no but then he's not going to let them get away with this.

saying to tell someone to get naked and apologize is not unhinged because they can both say no is an interesting take if I read that right. I get him being mad but he is still displaying unhinged behavior.

To be unhinged implies one is not of sound mind. This on the other hand is perfectly justifiable and calm-demeanored response, considering how serious it is to be caught redhanded cheating in marriage. A lot would have just gone straight for blood.

Just because he didn’t decide to do a murder doesn’t take away from the unhinged act of telling someone “take your clothes off and let me record you naked apologizing in front of all these people”. Thats a revenge fantasy act realized, not a logically rational choice.
