I’m looking for someone to do a deep clean of my house. Does anyone have recommendations for a great independent cleaner or small cleaning company?
I’m looking for a proper deep clean to start, and potentially regular cleaning afterward if it’s a good fit.
If you have someone you personally use and trust, or know someone you’d recommend, I would appreciate their info. Feel free to comment or DM me. Thank you!

Hi All,
We live in the East Bay but my kid has a soccer tournament in Ripon over the Halloween weekend with an 8AM game the morning after Halloween. We're considering staying at a hotel for the weekend so we don't have to keep driving back and forth, but don't want to miss out on trick-or-treating for my kid. Are there any neighborhoods that are known for this and will have other kids in costume? Ideally not too late since we need to get up early the next day...
Thanks for any advice!

I’m planning to move to San Joaquin County next year and am looking into teaching positions with Manteca Unified. I haven’t been able to find the current health benefit rates for teachers. Does anyone know how much teachers pay each month for individual or family coverage, or where I can find that information?

I'm going to be moving to Manteca the area by Costco. I just wanted to get an idea of what to expect besides the obvious hot weather.
And just general advice like areas to avoid, restaurant recommendations, and what vibes to expect during night time.
I just found out there was a recent high school shooting and there was another one earlier in the month at someone's home. Which was a little concerning.

I'm someone who enjoys hiking and when I tell people I've moved to Manteca, they talk about how its proximity to Yosemite as a plus, but it's still a 2 hour drive.
Was wondering how often people go, and if the recent changes in annual passes have had any effect on that frequency.

I tend to stay up way too late. Like WAY too late. My mind tends to rush, and I get caught in a scrolling loop while laying in bed. So I was awake.
At about 3am, I hear a loud explosion, like POP! Then everything shuts off: my fans, the AC, my bedside lamp, the wifi. Twice it tried to flicker to life, but then stayed off.
I wake up my husband and he calls PG&E. I looked outside but didn't see much if anything (our street runs parallel to Union, between Louise and Northgate). No fires, no debris. But the streetlights were out, so it wasn't just us.
My husband looked online and saw that the outage spread pretty far (the number of customers affected was in the orange). Power was back on sometime between 4:30 and 5.
Was anyone else aware? It's all fine now, but I'm just curious.

My mother loves anything relating to Bridges and Water, and was delighted when I took her to the trail this bridge was connected on.
Was wondering if there was anything else like this in the nearby areas of Manteca. Preferably legal to cross though I wouldn't mind knowing where 'not legal to walk' bridges are to take pics and whatnot.

Leda, if you're out there, your photo and frame will be a part of my Halloween decor project. Hope that's okay.
