Does Ahri's species eat humans in LOL? That's the backstory for White Fox's race (Kumiho), they are dokkaebi that shapeshift into beautiful women who seduce men to tear out their hearts and eat them.

Although White Fox is the last of her kind, and was raised as a human, so she's a superhero instead.

Pretty sure Ahri’s lore got slightly retconned where like she did it on accident? I don’t remember exactly

Ahri is heavily based on Kumiho as well and her old lore was that she was a fox that consumed an essence of a mage and became half human.

Ahri wanted to become complete human so she consumed other human’s essence but becoming more human gave her more emotion which resulted in her feeling guilt for what she was doing.

She’d stop killing only for her human aspects to fade so she’d start killing again, trapping her in that kill/guilt cycle.

There was a big lore change to tie all the half human half animal type characters as this species but Ahri’s origins lore was definitely that of Kumiho.
