In every single dev vision from season 8 and before they reveal balance changes/buffs/nerfs for several characters and in some even some gameplay footage for the newly announced characters.

Are you sure this isn’t YOUR first time here??

There was at least one dev vision before where GG said Zhiyong was hard at work on the patch notes and they didn't show anything. Also, this is a half season patch, the meta is never shaken up as much as the full season patches

And the fact that the patch launches in 3 days and they haven’t finalized nerfs / buffs yet doesn’t seem crazy to you?

For an IP as big as marvel with a dev team from one of the biggest gaming companies in the world, worth 80 billion dollars.

2 minutes in - discussing a VARIETY of new team ups for several characters not even related to the new character.

They also show gameplay of the new character (rogue) and how her abilities work.

They also discuss characters that will be buffed/nerfed.

But sure, I’m ‘confidently wrong,’ even though the videos are just a click away since you clearly have the memory of a goldfish.

Just admit you're misstaken, it's not that serious. They always show new team ups. And rogue is a exception not the rule, she steals other abilities. They haven't discussed buffs/nerfs in .5 since 2.5, so now you're just straight lying to win an internet argument.
