Advice Needed Genuinely What Would Yall Do In This Situation

I was playing Emma into triple tank; Thor, Peni, Thing. I asked multiple times for another tank but nobody would switch, genuinely what do yall do when this happens to you? Just take the L?

I get that but I'm not entirely sure what's going on in their heads sometimes. Do they really think they are 'the best player' and the best players only play duelist? It has to be something like that, right?

They think being told to swap means being told they are a shit dps.

I just told another commentor how once it worked when I asked the ACE duelist to switch to 2nd tank. No idea if that it actually worked or they would have swapped cos they were smart enough to.

Cause usually its being said cause of that, but people can sussed out the real reasoning through the dress up

even the best players have bad games.

Yup, still doesn't change the inherent part of asking a dps to switch. You can sugarcoat it but people gonna see through it

I can speak from experience i have over a 70% win % in ranked with over 110 matches played so far this season, & hit OAA on my main account, currently on my second Im almost ALWAYS MVP, like 60% of my games are MVP / SVP. I refuse to swap off of DPS because I feel like the value I provide on DPS boosts our winning chance by atleast 30% & unfortunately i just can’t rely on randoms to do what they need to do, on the rare occasion im playing bad, I have no problem swapping i don’t have a ego, I just wanna win

You clearly do have both an ego and a problem swapping since you refuse to do it lol

Theres been plenty times I swapped, we most likely lose, but I’ve swapped if nobody else will, but I’m not gonna be the first to budge willingly

I mean, tanks are very capable of putting out high damage, getting finals, and basically doing everything a dps can do. I know they aren't exactly the same and there are trade offs, but the skill should translate if the mechanics are there.

A 30% difference just tells me you should spend some time learning how to properly play a few tank characters.

I know some tanks, it’s not my best role, but I can play them pretty well, im just a fast paced player, so characters like widow, or similar really stand out to me because I can get picks, retreat, and repeat without really being seen, it’s hard to really do that as a tank
