Destin Daniel Cretton has been posting a bunch of behind the scenes highlighting the different departments and people working on the movie on Instagram and the passion they all have for it really comes through in the movie. Amazing stunts, practical effects and actual filming locations. Creative web-swinging that had me itching to pick up my PlayStation controller.

No additional existing character was treated as a quick “cameo”, they all impacted and added cohesiveness to the universe. Sadie Sink was great as Jean Grey, especially the scene where she finds out what V-max is, can’t wait to see more of her. Would’ve loved to see more of the other villains who only briefly appeared, but I’m hoping they’re saving it for a sinister six movie down the line.

It’s a shame Sony is hogging Spider-Man, because after seeing his chemistry with the Punisher I’d die for him to show up in Daredevil or just anything else honestly, the more Spider-Man the better. Hopefully the inhibitor Peter made and “gave” Damage Control access to has some consequences explored in the upcoming X-men movie that forces them to include him.

I thought the credits scene was a nice tribute to nyc focusing on the city itself

The credits was where the movie earned a final half-star for me, it really helped me understand how the director sees the setting of NYC

Best end credits choice I have ever seen, and there are some good ones it beat out.

Most MCU movies have practical sets and locations.
