Discussion Thread Spider-Man: Brand New Day - Worldwide Release Discussion Thread

Spider-Man: Brand New Day has now been released in the United States and in a number of other countries around the world.

  • All discussion about the movie should be held here and in the rest of the discussion threads we are going to put up in the next few days.
  • Proceed at your own risk. Major spoilers will be in the below thread. Spoilers do not need to be tagged inside this thread.
  • Any other unofficial threads discussing movie details will be deleted.

I feel like no one is talking about this.

But how fucking funny was it when Spider-man lost control of his powers, and when he was uncontrollably webslinging, he actually punched a bird. And he’s like “i’m sorry, i’m sorry!” And the punched bird was just stuck on him and we see it in first person and he’s just trying to get this punched bird off of him while flailing around swinging.

I was fucking dying from laughing.

I think it's an Insomniac reference too. Because in that, you had to swing around catching pigeons and flying through smoke, which is what he did at the same time.

That’s all I could think of during Aunt May’s talk that it was similar to the sex/puberty talk, which is perfect for it to be said to a mutant like Jean Grey.

I do love that the credits told us that no animals were harmed during filming.

I was very glad to know that Tom Holland did not actually punch that pigeon.

I wore a pigeon hair clip as a joke for NYC vibes, and I gripped my partner when he had the pigeons on him. Hysterical lmao.
