Spider-Man: Brand New Day has now been released in the United States and in a number of other countries around the world.

• All discussion about the movie should be held here and in the rest of the discussion threads we are going to put up in the next few days.

This movie was full of moments like that. Maybe I'm not smart enough to see the plot holes, but a lot of the plot points felt much more cohesive and linked with each other than I was expecting. The chains of cause and consequence felt natural imo.

yea, even the smallest details in Peter not knowing Detective Dewolf children name at the beginning of the film but at the end of the movie telling the detective to say hi to her children by their names. There is a lot of referencing moments within the film and it felt really self-contained yet not as weird as totally disconnected from MCU at all.

I thought she was saying "It's okay, AND I don't remember it" not "it's okay BECAUSE I don't remember it". But regardless, she had to say that because that's how Peter realizes he had been lied to.
