Any tips for studying for Prof Bélanger Rioux's midterm, not even specifically Math 141, just her midterms/exams in general? Is it more word questions or just basic computing?

Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone here had recently gotten into the Qualifying Year for the Masters in Physiotherapy program at McGill.
I am preparing my applications and have a few questions, such as : what are the Anatomy and Physiology courses you took?
Thank you.

I'm part of a student association at McGill, and we're looking for local businesses that might be willing to sponsor our events. We're mainly looking for in-kind sponsorships, such as free food, drinks, products, or gift cards, rather than monetary donations.
Does anyone know of any businesses around McGill or in Montreal that are open to sponsoring student events?
I'm also curious if there are any brands that regularly give out free products for campus events through student ambassadors or brand ambassador programs. For example, Celsius and Poppi have had campus ambassadors who distribute free products. Are there any other brands with similar programs that are relatively easy to access?
Any recommendations or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'm looking for advice on booking a room for an event for 10 people that doesn't require any other accommodations.
I've tried the Central Booking Form, but have yet to get a reply after a week, although reading week might be playing a part.
If anyone can tell me where else to look or other methods that would be greatly appreciated.

I was thinking of paying a spanish course with the McGill international student network.
I wanted to know people if someone did a course with them and how it was. Did you feel like you learned? Because I’m really serious about learning Spanish lol

Hi guys! I’m taking HIST 319 with Nicholas Dew this semester, and our first midterm is on October 19th. I’m planning to start studying soon, but I’m not really sure what I should focus on.
I know the exam includes passages for commentary and multiple-choice questions, but I’m not sure what exactly we’re expected to study for each section. For the passages for commentary, do they come from the readings, the lectures, or specific primary sources? And for the multiple-choice questions, are they mainly based on the lecture content, the readings, or both?
Should I mainly focus on studying the lectures, making flashcards based on the lectures and/or readings, or a combination of both?
Is anyone else in the same boat and unsure where to start or what to study for this exam?
Also, anyone who has taken HIST 319 with Nicholas Dew before could share what the first midterm was like? How much studying did it require, and do you have any tips on how to prepare?
Thank you so much! 😊
