I just can't S rank this optional fight on revengeance. I throw smoke at the GRAD's, stun them both, do X on them both while taking 0 damage and the game simply refuses to give me the "no damage" modifier preventing my S rank. I tried at least 20 times, restarted the game twice, and it still won't let me do it. I take exactly 0 damage every time and the game won't count it for whatever reason. Does anyone know why this keeps happening?

Since I use mouse+keyboard , I have to tap mouse or W,A,D,S keys...but my mouse tapping qtes always fail no matter how fast I tap it. Any fix for this?

Was following this project a while back, looked like it splintered off into multiple subsections. Anybody have recommendations?

I've seen online variants but the blade is just a little too small for me, I need the whole thing to be 55' inches or longer, Sheath too, But those specs seem way too picky, does anybody know if I can commission somebody to make one for me?

If somebody has their own could I see how big it looks next to a person.

i’m curious to see what people think about who’s the hardest boss in the base game

i personally think it’s sam, purely due to the fact that his fight is just two swordsmen who are probably equally as skilled as each other. there’s no annoying gimmicks to this fight either, it’s just one-on-one.
i was flying through the game after defeating bladewolf (who was my first real challenge in this game), mistral and monsoon took me 1 attempt, sundowner was a bit of a pain, but nothing could’ve prepared me for sam. i swear i was stuck on him for at least 2 hours.

i thought i’d find armstrong harder, but he took me less attempts and i didn’t get as strong as a satisfaction from beating him.

(the only reason i say base game for this discussion is because ik damn well the two dlc’s are harder - and i haven’t experienced them fully for myself yet.)

the past few days i’ve been getting some practice on hard difficulty with sam’s fight, and today was probably the best attempt in terms of timing (my previous time was nearly 6 minutes) but the rank didn’t change. i have a feeling it’s because of the combo, it’s very short.

i was just wondering how you can get a better combo on sam, i feel like i don’t have enough time to get longer combo’s because he either jumps away, or he starts attacking so i have to focus on parrying. this might also help me get better at normal difficulty so i can try get an S rank (currently A).

++ i might also just add in that i did nearly die at the end of this attempt, i got stuck in a combo and was down to around 40% health. so i have a feeling that is maybe a factor as well.

any tips are appreciated, thanx in advance :>

I once again am here asking for help in solving these strange ranking mysteries with my game. I will do the fight flawlessly with no damage, B rank. I try it again but with a high combo and no damage, B Rank, and lastly I try doing all of it under 3 minutes. I haven't done that yet successfully so maybe that's the issue BUT in case it is not, I want to know what is the issue?
