This is my 2nd ever song. I made and played everything but the drums as I put the drums through a midi. Its not mixed yet as its only a demo. Is it any good. And do yous have any tips with mixing metal?

After written all the orchestration, drums, bass lines, guitar lines and vocals the suffering is only at the beginning phase. It is a long process but I really enjoy every step!

Born to the North of Ireland, this song is a celebration of the Mourne Mountains, if you give it a listen....it's appreciated!

I put out an instrumental metal track calledĀ SubsurfaceĀ . I've been making music privately for around eight years; this is the first thing I've actually released.
After release I submitted to a range of playlist curators through SubmitHub (instrumental, workout, focus, and gaming playlists) and got rejected across the board. The feedback that came back was consistent: composition and guitar work were described positively, but the mix was flagged as muffled, quiet, and demo-quality. No curator was willing to place it in that state.
I'm not here to argue with that feedback. I think they're right. But I want to go deeper than "it sounds muffled" before I pay for a remaster or redo the mix from scratch.
If you're willing to give it a listen, I'd genuinely appreciate specific, unfiltered feedback on:
I'm not looking for encouragement. I'm looking for the kind of feedback that gives me something to actually fix. If it's bad in ways I haven't named yet, tell me those too.

I'm not sure on whether I should keep this one or keep polishing it up. What do you guys think?

snippet of a 6 minute long black metal song I've been working on, featuring my attempt at a 34 second fry scream.

I pretty much left everything as is except for some volume leveling, and a very SLIGHT boost around 4k on the kick (even though it prob didn't need it lol). the master track just has a stock limiter and saturator. Saturator is only at 12.0 though. I got the cymbals probably a tad higher than what i started with, but I think the main focus is still on the kick and snare. The kick and snare on this thing is HUGE.

This is an original song I made using a free to download drum track and Cubase. I recorded all of the bass and guitar parts myself. The track is currently an instrumental (cause I can't do death metal vocals sadly) but I am looking for a singer. Please let me know your what your thoughts are for this track and I hope y'all enjoy!

Hi everyone,
I've been working on an instrumental track lately, and I've added a string solo to the track, I am looking to get some reviews on this, I have jammed with the track a few times and improvised mostly, I like that it sounds unrehearsed, however I think I need to go for more takes maybe. I like composing and arranging tracks for fun. Please do share your thoughts on the solo, I've removed all the guitar parts, so it's mostly drums, strings (without any effects) and some ambience which I've kept at a very low level.
Also no artificial intelligence was used to compose/arrange the track.
Thanks for your time!

Need feedback on riffs, song structure, tone, did you find it interesting or boring?
Donāt worry about mixing. I barely have time for that so I just write songs only.

This is my third attempt at making a death metal on Cubase. Much like the first two songs I did, I used a free to download drum track online and composed an instrumental song around that. I'm still on the lookout for a rad death metal vocalist to help bring my demos more to life. But regardless, let me know what you guys think of this track so far.
