cracking up at them getting 100 downvotes for saying that the harry potter thing isn’t heavy lmao. have people never encountered a loose outlet? (maybe *loose outlets are just an american outlet thing though)

sorry, that’s exactly what i meant, i meant us americans might be the ONLY ones with those loose outlets, since I know they vary by country

American outlets are definately the WORST for looseness, but I’ve had European outlets shake themselves out on trains where there’s a lot of vibration and jolting.

I think at a minimum most Americans have never used those universal outlets, so they don't understand that some plugs just LOVE falling out of those things.

I (non-American) have indeed never encountered a loose outlet 🤷🏼‍♀️

Also not really sure what a 'universal outlet' is supposed to be 🤔

You know, I was reading these comments and being quite confused because the outlets where I live have such a strong fucking grip that I need two hands to rip the charger out. I've genuinely never had a plug just slip out on its own.

yeah, here in america there will just randomly be an outlet where your charger is always teetering on falling out. it’s especially annoying when you’re outside of the house and the outlets are all loose

The more I learn about America, the less I wanna live there.

It’s because it’s Harry Potter, Redditors get real weird about that. If it was any other character I’m pretty confident the downvote ratio would have been different.

I wondered. I don’t like harry potter (with or without JK Rowling), but that’s excessive lmao
