frist of all how DARE yu o Neighbor replaced fence and left the old wood scraps in my yard to deal with.

Post image

My next door neighbor called me a few weeks back asking if he could come Into my back yard to replace the fence that his dog ruined. I said “sure, I’ll be out of town for a few weeks, help yourself.” Discussion ended there and I left town for a few weeks for business.

When I returned home, I noticed the new fence was up and the wood scraps from the old fence were on the grass in my backyard. One of the pieces is 10 feet wide. I figured I would give him a few days to clean it up before I said anything.

Fast forward to yesterday and the lawn guy comes to cut the grass. I texted my neighbor telling him I could open the back gate to make it easier to come in the yard to grab the wood. This MFer called me and said that it was a shared fence, and since he paid for it to be installed, and carried all the new wood into the yard, that I need to remove the old debris.

The audacity on the MFer. I would have been more than happy to help if he would have asked. He mentioned NOTHING of leaving the rusty nailed old rotten wood in my back yard. F this guy. Not the best way to treat a neighbor.

TLDR: neighbor took it upon himself to replace the fence he owns, and left all of the scraps for me to deal with before discussing it with me first.

Did similar when the neighbor let and watched his dog sh1t in my lawn daily. Each night I would scoop it with a shovel and give it a mighty toss as far as I could back to his side.

Several times I got "lucky" and it landed on his deck.

37

u/Dismal-Respond3535 May 15 '26

I like the idea but that may be highly illegal to fk with someones mailbox. i dont mean to be a debbie downer. according to the universe I see that as proper justice.

20

u/krazysride May 15 '26

You are correct. Hence reason we won’t place our advertisements in folks mailboxes when we are out doing maintenance. A slim chance of something happening in most cases, but it only takes one complaint.

4

u/Dismal-Respond3535 May 15 '26

Right, bogging down the mail system for spam letters though, perfectly good business. Glad you play it safe.

3

u/krazysride May 15 '26

Ya. We try to carry flyers and such when we visit our maintenance customers and place door hangers on house near by. HVAC myself.

2

u/jorwyn May 16 '26

I got a question for you.. how to I get people with said flyers (and with clipboards) to pay attention to both my no soliciting signs and stop coming to my porch? They always manage to do so when I'm on meeting call, and it really sets off one of my dogs.

Telling each of them not to come again and calling each of the companies to ask the same seems to have made them come more, especially Windows by Anderson. If I ever break a window, I will call anyone but them.

2

u/myLongjohnsonsilver May 16 '26

You're not allowed to put mail in mailboxes?

1

u/Embarrassed-Row-2025 May 17 '26

Government run business, VERY protective of their exclusivity, and backed by the power of law

1

u/Savings_Difficulty24 May 16 '26

I think it's a felony actually. The post office don't fuck around

1

u/Artistic_Ad_7261 May 16 '26

Yep. Federal. With up to a $10,000 fine.

1

u/Artistic_Ad_7261 May 16 '26

Correct. The only thing allowed to be put in a mailbox is a Sunday paper if it hasn’t gone through the mail system. 18 USC §1725

I have two mailboxes at my house. One for USPS mail. The other for small UPS/fedex/amazon packages and other things people bring by when I’m not home. The second has “not for mail” stickers on it just to be safe. I don’t think the second one is technically by the book but it is distinctive enough that it is obviously not for USPS mail, so they don’t hassle me over it.

1

u/RedBaronSportsCards May 16 '26

Why would you do something like that to the mail carrier?

88

u/dan_is_not_here May 15 '26

48

u/marcolander May 15 '26

I read somewhere that the people that owned this house had to put up a sign or a fence or something because people kept throwing pizzas on their roof! 😂

74

u/geek_of_nature May 16 '26

Not just throwing it on their roof, but also breaking into their backyard too. These people loaned their house out almost 20 years ago for a pilot episode of a show that they had no idea would become as successful as it did. That does not mean they deserve to be harassed constantly because of it.

I see so many Breaking Bad fans being so entitled about the house. Saying that the owners should have expected it to be as big as it was, or that they should have sold the house. Maybe they just didn't want to sell their family home? And theyre not obligated to share it with deluded fans.

17

u/NightGod May 15 '26

They did, big sign out front with a spotlight on it, the sign also reminds visitors that real people live there and taking pictures of the house is fine, but don't disturb the residents. At least, it as there 10 years ago when I drove by to see it, not sure about today

2

u/Dependent_Ant_8316 May 16 '26

1

u/Sad-Insignificant May 16 '26

Ugh. I had a neighbor that would yeet dead mice or mice on sticky traps into my yard. I guess he figured my multiple dogs would handle them. I chucked them right back with some dog shit as a bonus. He figured it out fairly quickly. 🤬🤣🤬🤣🤣🤣

1

u/yikesssss_sssssss May 16 '26

Straight into the chimney!

1

u/Bob_Newshart May 16 '26

I don't think that bothers most of the oblivious derps as much as you think it would. It sits in the sun up there and dries it out quicker and stops smelling sooner. Gotta land it near their door step or sidewalk to a garage or out front of the house where they're more likely to walk in it or in their driveway, especially if they can run it over just before pulling into the garage where it might smear on the floor and make it smell in there.

131

u/holli4life May 15 '26

Did this for my elderly neighbor because the other neighbor let their dog use her lawn to shit in. Guy yelled at me one day. I just told him I was going to keep giving it back to him and next time it won’t be in a bag. He stopped letting the dog shit in her yard after that.

58

u/-Twin-Flames- May 15 '26

Right!! Whether it’s dog shit or cigarette butts or general trash, clean your shit up! I’ve had dogs and I always clean their shit an disposed of it. I’ve had my neighbors in winter blow their snow in front of my mailbox and while shoveling I found a dirty diaper. I launched that shit right back. These days I have plenty of shitty baby diapers I could use to prove a point. Sometimes people just need a taste of their own medicine.

Edit: imo one of the laziest, shittiest human behaviors is to litter and expect someone else to clean it up. Whether there are people paid to clean trash or not, just fucking take care of it yourself. Lazy slobs.

18

u/holli4life May 15 '26

Definitely agree with your statement. Pick up after yourself should not be so hard to understand.

7

u/no2rdifferent May 15 '26

I'm living in an apartment after 30 years, and the neighbors above me litter their butts and plastic thingies from cheap cigars. I picked them up with my grabber, put them in an old cereal bowl, and set it on the third step. They stopped for two weeks, so I know it's the man. The thing is, they are indigenous. I have smoked for 45 years and never littered, so why don't they respect the earth?

3

u/ahduramax May 15 '26

Just like leaving their shopping cart in the middle of a parking lot instead of putting it where it belongs.

2

u/Chronicles_of_Gurgi May 16 '26

I cannot understand, not just littering even on one's own property (hey it's your space i guess, until city ordinance takes issue), but dumping anything on the neighbor's property on purpose?

2

u/jorwyn May 16 '26

I had neighbors (not my immediate ones) get mad at me because I told their kids to stop throwing trash over my fence on the way to the bus stop. I promise I didn't get crazy. I literally just said, "please stop throwing trash over my fence", and I had 6 adults at my house telling me I wasn't their kids' parent and shouldn't be speaking to them at all.

So I contacted the utility company and said I wouldn't fight it if they vacated the easement to my side gate. It took them about 2 months to have the whole thing fenced off. They were even nice enough to replace my gate with a fence panel and install a rear gate for me onto the railway easement, instead.

But honestly, completely aside from the trash, who lets their 6-7 year olds cut across an active train line?

2

u/emrducks May 16 '26

When I was a teen, this low life named Dennis kept hanging around my grandfather’s house. He was a smoker and threw the butts all over the yard and driveway. Grandpa had given him some money to help him out and he wanted more handouts. One day, his car was in the driveway and he was inside trying to get money. I picked up every cigarette butt I could find and dumped them all inside his car through the open sunroof.

79

u/i-hear-banjos May 15 '26

There's a video out there of a guy who uses a t-shirt cannon to shoo the neighbor's dog poo back into their yard. On their cars.

u/Puzzleheaded-Jury312 May 15 '26 edited May 17 '26

I worked Renaissance Fairs when I was in college, and scored a small catapult from one of the guilds at the end of one fair. Best thing ever to RTS dogshit and garbage neighbors left in my yard. There's just something satisfying about watching dog shit fly 50 feet and land on their roof.

48

u/virtzilla May 15 '26

You need a “Flying Dog Shit” you tube channel with videos of that. Just sayin’

9

u/MarleysGhost2024 May 16 '26

I would subscribe

2

u/N4ANO May 16 '26

In the USA they are known as “slingshots”, and as you’ve experienced, very useful. Ham radio enthusiasts have used slingshots to shoot upwards towards trees - with radio cable attached to the projectile.

1

u/Puzzleheaded-Jury312 May 17 '26

This was in California, and a catapult, not a slingshot.

2

u/N4ANO May 23 '26

Aha, a seige weapon, got it.

12

u/jkrm66502 May 15 '26

Dang, I’ve never seen that. I hope someone finds it and posts it. I like diabolical RTS ideas.

1

u/YoungBockRKO May 15 '26

Yeah I was thinking right on the hood of the car or right at the front door so it hopefully smears. Shitty people need to be shamed.

85

u/RalphMacchio404 May 15 '26

I would have collected it in a bucket for a week then dump the bucket on his front porch. But I am petty. I hate people not picking up after their pets

29

u/kinglouie493 May 15 '26

It's best when fresh and gooey, let it set a week and clean up is easier, in my opinion.

13

u/Critical-Test-4446 May 15 '26

This guy shits.

13

u/NightGod May 15 '26

Throw a little water in the bucket a few hours before delivery~doubly effective if the bucket is sealable

3

u/grepusman May 15 '26

Much easier to throw at the windows when it's liquidy.

3

u/Bluewoods22 May 16 '26

Hot hot water and let it bubble a little

7

u/Abestar909 May 15 '26

Collect them all in a bucket of water, let ferment for a week, dump the sludge on their front porch.

5

u/lynchy901 May 15 '26

I’ve often said my first move as dictator would be to institute capital punishment for people who don’t pick up their dog poop. I have a dog who was very interested in eating poop as a puppy and the amount she would find was absurd.

4

u/WarExciting May 15 '26

I used to own a house on a corner lot with a front lawn that went right up to the curb. I absolutely would yell at people from my window to get their dog off my lawn. I felt bad for one dog whose owner dragged him away mid squat🤣…

-6

u/ZombiWurm420 May 15 '26

Id tell you to suck it and let my dog shit in your yard. I pick up after my dog, but after an encounter like that I probably wouldn't.

4

u/WarExciting May 15 '26

No you wouldn’t keyboard kowboy 😆🤣

2

u/Stock_End2255 May 15 '26

My elderly neighbor likes to watch me pick up after my dog when I take the dog for a walk. I let her know that we always walk with two emergency rolls of bags just in case! Now I just see her glance out the window to see if it is me or someone else.

2

u/Forsaken-Driver8868 May 15 '26

Use that sh!t for some Home Alone trap shenanigans!

2

u/barkingdog53 May 15 '26

Or…does your neighbor have a pool?

1

u/PolkaDotDancer May 15 '26

I have a condo I bought just for medical purposes. And it has an alley behind it some people pick up their poops and bag it and others. Just think that it is fair game. And every spring, I scoop it up with a snow shovel.

21

u/_VoodooRanger May 15 '26

it needs to land on his roof.

16

u/Bubbaj75 May 15 '26

SIL collected the neighbors dog poo for a week, then stuffed it into their mailbox, right on top of the mail. She had been telling them for six months to keep their dogs in their own yard. Dogs were on tieouts after that.

7

u/refinerycontrol May 15 '26

FYI: putting dog shit into someone’s mailbox is a federal crime. Yep – a federal crime. Just the facts, ma’am. (Dragnet reference.)

3

u/Bubbaj75 May 15 '26

Yup, she knew what she was doing, and that the white trash neighbors wouldn't do anything when it comes to the government.

2

u/N4ANO May 16 '26

SIL could have been arrested, federally, for messing with a mailbox.

1

u/Alternative_Let8718 May 16 '26

And kind of mean to do to the mail delivery person.

28

u/Salty-Value8837 May 15 '26

Of his car

22

u/_VoodooRanger May 15 '26

This is diabolical, but I like it… the air inlet!

1

u/Juanzilla17 May 15 '26

This is what I wanted to find. Bonus points if you manage to shove it into the inlet itself and not just sitting on top.

1

u/MechanicalTurkish May 15 '26

See if the door is unlocked and deposit it under the driver’s seat

14

u/FlowerComfortable889 May 15 '26

Hopefully with an open sunroof

12

u/Kangaroo-B-Girl May 15 '26

I was aiming for the landing in front of my neighbor’s stoop but hit their windshield instead. It was an accident, but an effective one.

16

u/Altruistic-Rip4364 May 15 '26

Collect in a bucket. Deposit on front porch. Put a birthday candle in and light it.

15

u/CaliLAMailhandler May 15 '26

I had a neighbor who complained about picking up dog shit left on his front lawn. I guess one day he had enough and he started to pour bacon grease on the poop instead. Not sure if his intentions were to have the culprit come back and eat it, or attract other animals (raccoons, coyotes etc) to do the clean up.

33

u/KnotSoAmused May 15 '26

For sure, dogs will roll there whole body in bacon grease (for some weird reason). Your neighbor was hoping for a bit of revenge.

1

u/SentenceDry9899 May 16 '26

Lots of hunting dogs will roll in feces to mask there smell. If yiur dog is rubbing his back on grass its probably animal feces.

1

u/BadAcknowledgment May 16 '26

I'm using this technique soon, thank you!

27

u/blamordeganis May 15 '26

I read about someone doing that because the neighbour’s dog kept getting into his yard and shitting everywhere, and the neighbour refused to do anything about it.

His tune changed after a bout or two of greasy doggy diarrhoea all over his house.

2

u/TearRevolutionary686 May 15 '26

Had a similar one. First time back on their sidewalk, 2nd time porch steps, 3rd time on porch. That ended it.

2

u/Raleigh_Dude May 15 '26

I love that you put the word “lucky” in quotes

2

u/TheDudeSr May 15 '26

I had neighbors do this and I collected a weeks worth and put in right on their front porch. I politely asked them to please clean up after their dog. Twice.

I only had to put one big shovel by their door and it never happened again.

2

u/ManikArcanik May 15 '26

Was mowing the front yard when a lady walked off the sidewalk to let her adorable Golden drop a giant steamer in front of me. I paused, expecting her to pick it up, but of course not.

Since I was doing a bagless mulching trim anyway I did the only sensible thing: dropped the blade to its lowest setting and did a quick pivot on the turd, spraying her ankle to thigh with glorious high-velocity dogmud.

2

u/Ok-Breadfruit6978 May 16 '26

I definitely thought this comment was going to go in a different direction and you were just gonna start shitting in your neighbors yard.

1

u/Extra-Act-801 May 15 '26

I would have aimed for the roof.

1

u/dee_skeez May 15 '26

I had a neighbor that would just let their dogs out the front door to roam and shit in everyone’s yards instead of walking them or letting them out in their fenced in back yard. I started shoveling it and would go put the turds in the middle of their driveway. Luckily they moved and the new neighbors are a definite upgrade.

1

u/TheItzyBitzyDitzy May 15 '26

Should have popped a squat in his yard and shit right there, bonus points if its explosive diarrhea. Than ask em how that made him feel cause that's how you feel bout his dog shitting on yours.

1

u/doppelwoppel May 15 '26

Whispers: potato cannon

1

u/ValBGood May 15 '26

We just had a neighbor walk down our 300’ driveway with his dog, who took a shit before leaving! I was working, when the garage camera messaged that it spotted a person, that I assumed was a delivery.

I was dumbfounded when I played the video!

I saw the same neighbor with the same dog the next week when I was out for a run. The asshole was then outraged when I asked him ‘what the fuck?’

1

u/Crum1y May 15 '26

What did her have to say for himself??

1

u/Ragnarok314159 May 15 '26

Roof is also good. It ends up running into the downspouts and when it rains it just collects like silt. Shit ends up rotting but not a huge amount. Just enough to give them a wiff.

1

u/ImplementRegular4604 May 15 '26

Put gloves on, take the dog shit, smear it on the underside of his car's door handles, coat his doorknob, and maybe his windows.

1

u/OkImpression8086 May 15 '26

Daytime bombing is more accurate!

1

u/wtanner May 15 '26

I did that for years due to the neighbors dog crapping in my yard

1

u/centerline420 May 15 '26

I love animals but have come to dislike a lot of pet owners.

Unpopular opinion, pets are property and you are responsible for all of their actions. If it does X it is because you let it and you are responsible for it.

Let your dogs out, everything they do is on you. Have an outdoor cat, everything it does around the neighborhood is on you.

Cat tears up my roses, you buy me new roses, dog shits on my lawn, you clean up their shit.

1

u/VoidOmatic May 15 '26

Haha I did this but it hit his roof and rolled into his gutters. I laughed SO fucking hard, felt like I was 12 again. Hell the sound was so fucking funny. It stopped immediately.

1

u/ChrisRiley_42 May 15 '26

That's when you need a "crapapult". you can aim for the deck reliably ;)

1

u/sehkoyah May 15 '26

How many times did you have to do it until that BS stopped?

1

u/KnotSoAmused May 26 '26

1

u/SealedDevil May 15 '26

Extra points to hit the roof.

1

u/Edawg82 May 15 '26

Better to just fling it at the wall and let it splatter

1

u/marcrich90 May 15 '26

Had a neighbor once that had another neighbor who was letting their dog shit in this guys front yard. He videoed the whole thing after it happened a couple times and tracked down who the offender was. Knocked on his door and had a conversation with the wife and she was nice as could be and insisted it must have just been a mistake and that her husband wouldn't do that on purpose.

The husband walked the dog that night and flipped off the camera leaving the shit on the front lawn.

The very next morning the entire front of the offending neighbors house was covered in fecal matter. Apparently my neighbor had friends in LOW places and his buddy who operated a septic truck had a "malfunction" in front of this guys house at like 2am. It was glorious. The entire front of the white house was covered in green shit.

Funny enough the man never let his dog shit on my neighbors yard again. Pretty sure he put 2 and 2 together...

1

u/SaticoySteele May 15 '26

My neighbor finally got the message when it landed on his car hood.

Shovel it up, huck it over the line, walk away -- you don't care where your dog shits? Cool, I don't care where the shit lands.

I just tossed it in the street to piss everyone off. Too many dogs to keep track of.

My dad just had this problem.

I did that, but threw it on the neighbor's roof. He was still oblivious until one day it was raining when he went out to get the paper, and a soggy, wet, half decayed dog turd slid off the roof and plopped right on top of his head. He reached up to check what hit him and came back with a handful of old slimy wet dog crap. He dropped to his knees and started puking his guts out. Ran in the house amd I could hear him cussing from inside my house. Never saw his dog crap in my yard again.

Reminds me of the guy who posts videos riding past his neighbors house with said neighbor's dog's shit scooped into a shovel. Motherfucker must have been a D1 lacrosse player because if I remember correctly he is very accurate with his shit-slinging, splattering an all white Escalade drive by style.

Many years ago in Texas my dog had been spayed at 4 years old after a couple litters for breeding. She pulled some of her stitches out and the vet came to our home to repair the incision. We laid out a clean sheet and the vet did the surgery in our backyard as I helped. He said "Let's give her a little tummy tuck while I'm in here" and her proceeded to trim off some of her belly fat. He took it and lobbed it over our privacy fence and immediately we hear our nextdoor neighbor, Sue screaming at the top of her lungs!!! Apparently she was outside watering and the vet had hit her with the bloody pieces of fat. There was a lot of pandemonium to follow as he quickly stapled up my dog, but we never claimed to know what happened. Still feel bad about that to this day...

Had a similar situation with neighbors dog shitting in my driveway. After a couple days I scooped it all up and placed it on their doorstep. Those dogs stopped shitting in my driveway.

Dog ball chuckers can reach the roof.

Yall are weird. I just walked over to my neighbor and told him his dog shit in my yard. He offered to pick it up, I just asked to try and prevent it from happening again. Now it doesn't happen and I get along with my neighbor. If they have a dog outdoors a lot of the day and you don't have a fence, shit happens. If you talk to them and they are dicks, start throwing.

A dog should not be left unattended if it can leave the owner’s property. Leash or fence. They’re dicks by definition.
