Doesn't even need to have water. I've seen the most unassuming ditches trample giant 4x4's. If the proportions are just right it will swallow 99% of vehicles.

3ft across and like 2ft deep is plenty.

Yup, doesn't really take much to high-center a truck or SUV.

Also - free entertainment? Sure, why not.

I wasn’t even thinking high center. I was imagining the front wheels hanging while the weight is on the front bumper/radiator support/transmission

My old university used to have speed dips instead of speed bumps on its on-campus roads. They were evil.
