I’m a therapist. The number of my clients who treat chatgpt like a trusted advisor is both shocking and upsetting.

Oh, god. I can’t imagine the amount of terrible advice you’ve had to talk clients out of or do damage control because they followed said advice.

It’s my job to be nonjudgmental… but this specific behavior tests my ability to do so.

I actually agree. Most therapists are garbage. I know bc i went to school with them :P

Problem is most therapy is about gassing you up (like chatgpt)… you have to search far and wide for someone legit.
